Mia rolled, managing to get a good chance card for once, taking ten dollars from the bank.
Mia rolled, managing to get a good chance card for once, taking ten dollars from the bank.
“Ooh! Nice!” Simon praised with a smile before taking the dice, rolling them out gently. He landed on another railroad and bought it quickly.
"Dang, you're gonna nail me with those railroads, aren't you?" Mia smiled as her friend got another railroad, humming some.
“Maybeeeeee.” He replied vaguely with a mischievous smile. “I guess you’ll just have to wait and see.”
Mia accepted the dice when Simon's turn was done, rolling her fate.
"Well, I don't see much waiting going on," she mumbled, landing on one of Simon's railroads.
"How many do you have again??"
He laughed softly. “Ummm..” he counted the cards quickly. “Three.” He declared with an innocent smile.
"Dang it," Mia mumbled under her breath. She pulled out the hundred dollars from her pile, sticking her tongue out.
His smile merely widened. “Thank you for your very generous donation madam.” He said, taking it from her and gingerly putting it into his pile.
"Aha, yes, indeed," Mia said, not at all peeved to had lost so much money in one turn. No, not at all.
Simon on the other hand was perfectly at ease, humming softly as he rolled the dice, landing on an empty space and opting to do nothing.
Mia rolled, managing to get on one of her own properties to try to do some damage control to the large hole in her money.
Simon hummed softly, taking the dice and rolling. He landed on one of Mia’s properties. “Aw man.” He shrugged, handing her over the money.
"Thank you," Mia said, looking over the board. She took the dice and rolled, managing to get the second brown property.
"Yes, I've got the first monopoly!"
“Ooh! Good job!” He said, doing a small round of applause for her, giggling softly.
"Thank you, thank you," Mia laughed some, bowing a bit from her seat. She handed the dice over to Simon, smiling.
Simon smiled back at her, taking the dice and rolling them. He landed on an empty property and bought it.
Mia hummed, rolling to get a double. She landed on chance, managing to snag herself a crisp hundred dollars.
"Nicee," she said, chuckling. She rolled once more, landing on free parking.
"Here you go," she said, handing the dice over.
Simon rolled, landing on one of his own properties and handing the dice back to her.
Mia smiled, taking the dice and rolling. Once she landed on one of her properties, she pulled out her money.
"I'm gonna put a house on each of my browns," she said, setting the hundred dollars down before setting the green pieces in place.
He nodded. “Go ahead.” He shrugged, waiting for her to finish.
"There we… go! Let's hope you land on them, yeah?" Mia giggled some, setting the dice in Simon's hands.
“I hope not!” He replied with a small laugh, rolling and missing them by literally one space. He let out a sigh of relief.
Mia huffed some, rolling her eyes.
"Lucky," she said, sticking her tongue out with a laugh.
“My life just flashed before my eyes.” He said dramatically, putting his hand over his heart.
"Just you wait, I'll nail you with hotels sooner or later," Mia warned, chuckling.
“I am very very frightened.” He said, laughing softly. He offered her the dice.
"You should be!" Mia giggled, taking the dice and rolling. She landed on one of Simon's, offering him the money.
"I've got a trade I'd like to offer you," Mia said, smiling some."
“Oh? Do tell.” He said, chuckling softly, waiting for Mia to tell him what it was.
"My railroad for your light blue property," she said, holding the piece of paper up. It would give Simon all four railroads, but she would own the side of the board.
“Hmmmm….” he looked over the board a moment. “Okay. You have a deal.”
