She nodded. "Mm, makes sense."
She nodded. "Mm, makes sense."
“I… I think I really like him.” she admitted softly, blushing again.
She smiled. "That's good."
Jade chuckled a little. “Yeah. I just hope he likes me as much as I think he does. Honestly, he never says it but all his actions make me think that…” she shrugged.
"Some people are afraid of the word love. It has a lot of commitment wrapped up in it."
She nodded. “I know. And I have considered that… I don't know, I don't want to be selfish but I would like to hear him say it.”
She nodded. "Of course, and that's understandable. Everyone wants to hear it from someone they care about."
She sighed, letting her shoulders drop in relief. “Thanks for listening. I… I don't really get to talk about this stuff with anyone.” she admitted. “I mean, it's not exactly easy to talk to Sophie about this.”
"Yeah, no problem." She replied with a faint shrug.
She chuckled softly as she looked back over at Raven. “I’m really glad we ran into each other. And that we got to talk like this.” she smiled.
"Me too. It's great."
She nodded slightly, still smiling. “Yeah, it is.”
"Is there any chance I could meet this beau of yours? Or the roommate?"
“Doubtful to the first. As far as meeting Sophie… I'd say it's a possibility.” she nodded. “Though I’d have to warn you, she's very… flirtatious. I can't guarantee that she wouldn't make a move on you.”
Raven laughed. "Ah, not to worry. I don't mind. I'll take it as a compliment."
“Ok.” she laughed. “I just felt like I should mention it.”
She laughed a little as well. "Well, it's appreciated."
“You’re welcome.” she chuckled, remembering when Sophie even flirted with Killian the first time they met.
She tugged on her hair again, smiling.
“You know… I think she's going to be getting off work soon if you want to meet her.” she said, smiling softly.
"Sure. Sounds interesting."
“Ok.” Jade smiled. Honestly, she was almost starting to think that Raven and Sophie might actually get along really well. “You wanna play a quick game while we wait?” she asked, picking up her blueprints and any other scrap papers that would give her away.
"Sure, what kind?" She got up, helping to gather up the papers.
“Your choice.” she shrugged. “I keep them in the cabinet under the tv. You can pick out one while I hide these.”
"Alright." She headed over to look through them.
“Be right back.” Jade smiled a little and took her papers to hide in her room.
She nodded, quiet.
It really didn't take long for her to drop off the documents in a very secure area until she could get them back to her Den.
She found a deck of cards, pulling them out and shuffling them.
“What’d you pick?” she asked as she rejoined Raven in the living room.
