She smiled over at Jade, running a hand through her hair.

Jade smiled back. “Have you designed anything recently?”

She nodded. "Mhm. I'm working on a building for some clients. They wanted me to come up with a plan for them, after they told me what they wanted, of course."

“Of course.” Jade chuckled in agreement. “Getting the client's approval is probably the most important part of any job. What kind of building is it?”

"A house. Not my favorite thing to build, but it can be fun, especially with certain clients."

“Understandable.” Jade nodded, understanding. “Do they have a location for you to build?” she asked hoping this was good small talk.

"Mm, I don't know. It's just my job to design, I don't do the building. I design and then someone will check over my work, and then it's out of my hands. That's the beauty of it. I only have to design it, I don't have to build it."

“That’s fair.” she nodded. “As long as you enjoy your job.” she smiled.

"I do, yes." She laughed a little.

"That's always a good thing." she chuckled with her friend.

She smiled over at Jade.

Jade sighed a little. "At least your "normal" job probably doesn't get as frustrating as mine does."

"Yeah. It's simple enough." She replied, smiling softly.

“Lucky.” she joked. She did enjoy her normal job but there were still plenty of times when the customers drove her crazy.

She laughed quietly, running a hand through her hair again.

Jade sighed a little, smiling softly. “So… What now?” she asked. “I mean, about us knowing each other's identities.”

"I…don't know. Do you want my number?"

“Only if you're comfortable with sharing it.” she shrugged. “But let's stick with “official” methods for work unless it's an emergency.” she suggested.

"I'm fine with it. But I do agree, official methods only for work."

“Alright.” Jade agreed, pulling out her phone as she was willing to share as well.

She gave Jade her number.

And Jade gave her number to Raven. It was a strange feeling to share something that personal with another hero… Though it wasn't too dissimilar to when she shared her number with Killian, and he was technically still a villain.

Raven smiled, sending he a quick text. "And there we go." She said.

Jade laughed a little at the text and quickly sent a reply. “Yep. All set.”

Raven tucked her phone in her pocket, smiling.

Jade smiled back as she put her phone away as well. It felt kind of nice to have a second contact for someone who had the same “job” as she did.

She adjusted her hair again, quiet.

Jade tilted her head slightly, noting the other girls nervous habit but didn't comment on it.

She blinked over at the other woman. "Do you have a roommate?"

“Yeah. I do.” she nodded with a fond chuckle. “Sophie’s… An interesting person but harmless. Just a little embarrassing at times.”
