"I did. how about yourself?" Eric asks as he sits down at the table with a smile. "I had a dream where you and I were…" he thought about it for a moment but decided not to finish it, "actually, nevermind…"

"I slept well. Breakfast is served!", Amelia sat down at the table.

Eric got some waffles and started to cut them into quarters along the grid of the waffle, "I don't know why people put syrup on their waffles. To me, they taste better just with butter."

Amelia laughed, "Waffles are my favorite breakfast food. Sometimes I'll put syrup in the squares just to make patterns." She sat next to him, cut her waffles, and started eating.

Eric smiles laughing as he ate his waffles. "Yesterday before we entered your flat," he said after swallowing, "I saw your neighbors looking over at us unusually."

Amelia finished her waffles and shrugged, "They're usually nosy….though I wonder why they were looking this time."

"Maybe they think I am your lover," Eric said jokingly before taking another bite of his waffles.

Amelia smiled back, "Maybe that wouldn't be too bad." The words escaped before she could even think about it.

"Y-You see me as your lover?" Eric blushes, "does that mean… you have feelings for me?" He didn't know what to feel at this moment.

Amelia looked down but then got her nerves together and looked back up at him, "I do have feelings for you….I know we just met but I've never felt this way about anyone before. Besides, I only known you two days but it feels like I've known you forever."

"Actually," Eric said as he stood up and starts to walk over to Amelia, "I feel the same way with you. I thought the employee did something to my hot chocolate yesterday, but not I realize… I love you." He softly kisses her.

Amelia leaned in, "I love you too."

Eric pulls her in and hugs her, "w-would you like to go on a date this evening?"

Amelia nuzzled her head on his chest, "Sure!"

"To be honest, this is going to be my first date," Eric said nervously

Amelia giggled, "Me too."

Eric smiles and kisses Amelia again, "what do we have to do today?"

Amelia thought, "I have nothing to do….I'm off work for an entire week. What do you want to do?"

"How about we do something together like… go skating?" Eric said unsure what they should do as well

Amelia smiled, "I've never been skating before! I would like to though but you're probably going to have to help me."

"I have never been skating before either, so you're also going to help me," Eric smiled, "I have an idea what we can do later, but I want it to be a surprise."

Amelia nodded and grabbed her coat and car keys, "You wanna drive?"

"Sure, but I don't know where the skating rink is," Eric said as he grabs his jacket, "I was wondering if you knew a place."

Amelia looked it up on her phone and showed him the directions, "This one looks fun and barely anyone goes there so we'll probably have the rink to ourselves."

"Great! let's head over and have fun!" Eric said as he unlocked the door and waited until Amelia walked out, "others first."

Amelia laughed and kissed his cheek, "You are so cute!"

Eric was about to get on the driver's seat but then saw Amelia's neighbor again, "Sir, do you need something?" The elderly neighbor got angry and said, "I'm a woman!" Eric took another look and said nothing else.

Amelia stifled a laugh and got into the car. Then she burst out laughing.

Eric got into the car and started to laugh a few moments after Amelia started laughing. He started to tear up from laughter, "I-Is that Mrs. Snicker Doubtfire?" After laughing, he started the car and drove off.

Amelia laughed and then put her head on his shoulder while he drove.
