Hanako tells her specifically NOT to touch the mermaid scale she's holding, but then she up and shoves the damn scale into her mouth and threatens to swallow it if he doesn't tell her what they're meant to be used for

Hanako right now is just: stressed jazz hands

SHE SWALLOWED THE FUCKING SCALE AS HANAKO WAS EXPLAINING THE CURSE THAT COMES WITH SWALLOWING THEM
BITCH, HE WAS JUST TELLING YOU ABOUT THE CURSE, AT LEAST LET THE MAN FINISH

Of course Yashiro doesn't give a fuck about the curse.
Nobody seemed to care besides Hanako at that point.

Yashiro, he didn't tell you about the scales because he must have known you'd make a hasty decision like you just did. He didn't want you to get hurt or to be affected by the curse, and yet here you are, calling him a liar. Just because he was trying to protect you from a literal curse.

Hanako just made a sad whimper-like noise and my heart shattered. Poor Hanako was just trying to be a good ghost boi, and yet Yashiro is being pretty harsh about this whole situation-

The curse took effect on Yashiro. Why am I glad about this?

Now Hanako is scolding Fish Yashiro for eating the scale. Thank god, someone besides me is reminding her of what she got herself into.
I wonder how Hanako is gonna reverse the curse, if he even can

The episode's over! I might watch the other episodes when I get the chance.
This anime is really cool! I like the concept, for sure! Totally plan on watching more of this soon.
