"Mm…" The stars are really the only things that I actually like. Marius lay back on the floor and sighed softly, clearly growing a bit tired after a while. He wasn't looking forward to going back down the stairs. It always tired him out, and he couldn't even go all that fast. Servants occasionally offered to carry him down, but he always refused. Being carried was demeaning, and it made him feel like a child or a doll.
"You seem tired," Krona pointed out. "Maybe you should head off to bed? It's not healthy to keep yourself up too much, and you can always pick this back up in the morning." He paused for a minute, then chuckled. "God, I sounded like a mom or something." He cringed at his mother-like words, smiling slightly. Technically, he was supposed to be putting up an act about caring about Marius, but looking down at the small prince, he couldn't help but feel like it was his responsibility to make sure he was taking care of himself.
I can't see the stars in the morning, so no, I can't. Marius kept scribbling things onto his star map, his ears beginning to droop with exhaustion. He was growing more tired as time went on, seeming like he was planning on just passing out up here instead of bothering with the stairs.
"If you wake up early enough, you can." He smiled slightly, seeing that the prince was quite obviously tired. "If you need me to, I can carry you down. You're obviously tired." He needed to make sure to get close enough to Marius so that he could assassinate him easily. Sure, it was a slow process, and the prince would probably make it incredibly difficult, but he knew that he would be able to go through with it.
(Sorry for the late response! I had school)
(No problem!)
Marius huffed indignantly. I don't need to be carried. I'm an adult. If I wanna sleep up here, I can. He rolled over so he could sprawl out across his star map again and continue working on it. He was still very droopy and sleepy, and he did actually doze off after a bit. Considering his tendency to pass out up here, that may have been a reason that Krona was asked to accompany him.
