Name: Kye Gathrodir
Age: Looks as if he's 19 or so.
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Race: Half Elf. Half Unknown
Appearance: Slightly longer spikey white hair pulled back. Electric purple eyes. He wears a dark red hoodie specially designed to hold body heat. Under it he wears a black tight fitted t-shirt. He has special fingerless gloves with tough knuckles and palms. The palms of the gloves also have grips almost like sandpaper. He wears dark gray heavy duty cargo pants and knee high soft leather boots. He always has a dark brown buckskin backpack type bag over his shoulder.
Personality: Kye seems pretty open and talkative at first. Not seeming to be worried about anything, however he actually keeps a lot to himself and doesn't let on to a lot of things he may or may not know. He's very street smart. And good with his words. With people Kye trusts he is relaxed and cheerful. He cares deeply for his friends.
Warning! He can be very sarcastic, though he tries to be polite with people he doesn't know.
Powers: Kye has the ability to create force fields. A mostly transparent, purple tinted, glassy substance that he either uses as an armor around his body, or he can make large dome like shields to protect others. He can bend and form to to whatever shape he wants. If not struck they can only be held together with Kye's complete focus. Unlike most force fields, when struck Kye's shields absorb the kinetic energy and disperse it strengthening the shield. Neither blunt force nor magic can penetrate it. However, when he uses it as an armor, it will only keep him from getting cut, or stabbed. It can not stop him from getting thrown around like a rag doll.
While the shield is the power he uses the most it is not his only power. He just doesn't know how to use his other powers yet. Nor does he know about them fully. A few more of his powers may pop up here and there.
Talents: Kye is very good at talking. He can manipulate people with just his words sometimes. Though he only uses that skill for his job of negotiation. He can also light a torch in under a second.
Flaws: Kye can sometimes be too standoffish. He doesn't easily trust people, and often times will try to do everything by himself, even when he has people trying to help him. On the flip side once his trust is gained he feels like he is the only one capable of protecting his friends.
Weaknesses: Kye has a mild fear of heights, and a slightly more severe fear of mazes. Specifically mazes with tall walls. He has a huge fear of snakes, it doesn't matter if they're friendly or not he avoids them at all costs. And he also has a fear of his own abilities.
Backstory: Kye's mother was raped by his father whom he's never met. When Kye was only five his mother was executed in front of him on the charge of witchcraft that she had never done. Something happened as his mother was executed and Kye woke up later to find himself in a huge crater with nothing but wasteland in a mile radius around him. After that Kye lived on the streets of a different city, hearing some talk of his old city having been completely destroyed by a demon child. He was soon found out to be the so called "demon child" and was literally chased from the city. During his escape he fell into a sinkhole and ended up in the very large cave system that lay underneath everyone's feet. He stayed in the caves for several years, eventually coming out and joining an elite force of elves. He joined as a negotiator keeping his real identity secret.
Other: He keeps a dagger, a first aid kit, food rations, a water canteen, a torch, a special type of oil, a length of strong wire and rope, a pike attached to the rope, and flint and steel in his backpack.
Also where Kye is from the use of fire is limited to it's base form. Meaning people only use it for light and warmth. Kye on the other hand figured out that when something were lit on fire they would explode and he eventually figured out how to make stronger versions of the things that would explode. Essentially, Kye learned out to make gunpowder and other explosives. He keeps several bags of his explosives in his backpack as well.
