“ guess this is the place, right Edward?” Dwarf looks at him with confusion sigh Knox turned back to the map and continued up the stone road as he reached the end into the cliff side appeared a great castle like structure with towering outlooks and rooms “WHOA! this is awesome!” He exclaimed he was completely out of his comfort zone but he was here finally at Eldridge Acedemy For the Magically Gifted He stood right in front of the giant oak doors and shivered not just from his fear but also from the cold weather on this mountain

Ciaran yawned a bit as she walked into the Academy, her owl familiar sleepily swaying on her left shoulder. Her ears swiveled around a bit at every little sound around her, betraying the curiosity that her face didn't show. Her owl hooted softly at the occasional passerby, but otherwise kept still and quiet. Ciaran pushed open the door and wandered inside, looking around as she tried to find her classroom.

He walked into the building mystified by every new sight “whoah!” he looked upward until he almost fell backward after he adjusted himself he would probably get to class he started to jog in one direction around a corner and ran directly into a girl about the same age. Edward fell off his shoulder and Knox tumbled to the ground Dazed

Ciaran tumbled to the ground as well with a soft yelp of pain. "Hey! Watch where you're going, dumbass!" She huffed a bit and pushed herself up into a sitting position, and then to her feet. Her little owl managed to get back on her shoulder, but seemed rather dazed.

“ I-I-I’m sorry!” His face quickly blushed and he almost fell again trying to stand up
“I’m knox” he held out his hand and looked directly at his face completely embarrassed “ I’m new, I’m so sorry about running into you” he hoped it would be sincere but his words stumbled overtop of each other and his words crashed like an unstable bridge

Ciaran sighed softly and reluctantly shook Knox's hand. "I'm Ciaran. Now we should probably be getting to class, yeah? See you around." She turned on her heel and walked off to her own classroom, gently petting her owl to calm it.

“But!” He looked down for a moment embarrassed “I have no idea where to go.” He said it in a concedes tone “ could you umm, help me” hope slipped into his voice along with obvious pleading he himself was unaware of

"Ugh, fiiiine…" Ciaran sighed and turned back around, snatching Knox's schedule out of his hand. "Gimme that…" She examined it for a few seconds. "We have our first class together. Fantastic. Follow me." She started walking off again, hoping that Knox would just get the memo and follow.

He quickly followed after her and Edward followed intently “come on boy” he stopped for a second to pick up Edward as he did this Edward scuttled up on top of his shoulder and nuzzled him. knox ran up to the girl “so what’s your name?”

"Ciaran. I already told you that. Do you not listen as well as not look where you're going?" She sighed softly and kept walking to the classroom. "The room isn't far. Hopefully you can listen well enough in the actual classes."

crap i screwed up first person I meet I get them to hate me he looked so rounded in thought “so have you been here for a while?” While saying this he inspected her face noticing the little details Like how her hair hid her other eye and he just looked at her for a moment, once he realized what he was doing he looked away and hope she did not notice

"For about a year, yeah. I take it that you're new?" Ciaran sighed, looking around a bit to make sure she was going the right direction. Soon, she led the both of them into the correct classroom.

“Yeah I am, I forgot to mention “ he had a sudden realization he hadn’t introduced Edward, “this is Edward he indicated the creature on his shoulder

"Nice. This is Averill." Ciaran gestured to the owl on her shoulder. "Now you can go find your seat. And if you can't figure that out by yourself, you can ask the teacher. She'll know better than I do."

“Thank you so much, you were a big help” he walked over near the back and found a seat labeled with his name he wondered what he would be taught after all he only knew the stuff he had experimented with from home

"Mhmm." Ciaran set her owl down on her desk and started petting it gently with a soft sigh. She already pretty much knew this stuff, so paying attention to such a boring class wasn't something she planned to do.

Knox attempted to be attentive In the class but he kept getting distracted by different things in the class at multiple points knox had to stop himself from examining Ciaran and her owl along with other classmates

Ciaran cooed softly at the owl throughout the class, her ears twitching a bit whenever she heard an unusual noise. Thankfully for Knox, she didn't seem to notice him, her focus being on the owl for now.

he somehow did get some information out of the class it was talking about the how magic worked in the world around us but he didn’t get much more than that. He stared down the rows looking at all the different animals and faces looking and noticing random details. For example there was a boy with glasses and shaggy blond hair with a lizard on his shoulder and there were many other students

Ciaran got up and gathered her things once the class was over, chirping softly at her owl to coax it back onto her shoulder. Once it was on, she weaved through the desks to leave the room.

Knox quickly packed his stuff up again and grabbed his pencil from his desk and slotted it into his bags. He then began to exit the room as well and looked down at his schedule to see what was next for today

Ciaran checked her schedule for a moment and then was heading off to her next class, her tail swaying behind her with every step she took.

“Hmmm, seems like I’m going room 202 next” he looked around hoping he could find something that could direct him he seemed to be on the first level do to the different rooms having ones at the beginning as he got farther from his own classroom he noticed that Cairan was in front of him he looked At her brown fluffy tail i wonder what it would feel like he mused his hand was about an inch away when he noticed he shook his head vigorously and continued to look around for where his next class would be

Ciaran paused to look back down at her schedule and glanced around, humming softly to herself. Soon, she seemed to gain some level of understanding from her short pause and continued on, eventually turning into another classroom.

Knox turned into his classroom and looked around it seemed to be similar to the last one but instead it had more open windows and was brighter overall he was still adjusting to this place he wondered what this class would entail
