“I know. I just still wish you didn’t have to worry your pretty little head about anything.” He replied, wrapping his arms around Arien.

Arien blushed lightly, kissing Rafael's chest.
"Mm… Well, it's nice that you think that way, at least."

“Well hopefully we won’t have to worry about anything someday. Someday…” he really wanted that to be true.

"Someday," Arien echoed. "We'll make sure of it." The vampire pressed closer lightly, resting his head where he had kissed the human.

Rafael rested one hand on the back of Arien’s head, tangling his fingers in the vampire’s hair. He let out a content sigh as he held the other close.

Arien let out a breath, smiling.
"Love you, you know."

“I love you more.” He mumbled, kissing the top of his head. “More than anything in the whole entire world…”

Arien giggled, leaning up to catch Rafael's kiss with his lips.
"I love you most-est," the vampire said, holding back another giggle. "More than everything else."

“Well that’s not grammatically correct whatsoever so I say I win.” He challenged jokingly, chuckling softly.

"Pah! Language is fluid and able to change at any time," Arien said in rebuttal, giggling a bit.

“Babe I don’t think that’s ever been a correct form of grammar in the English language.” He laughed.

"Well, it could be someday!" Arien was giggling a lot by now, hugging Rafael close.

“But it’s not right now, therefore, I win! I’m right, you’re wrong, end of story.” He said, pinching Arien’s cheek.

Arien huffed playfully.
"Fine! you win!"

“Finally!” He exclaimed, still laughing as he kissed the other man.

Arien giggled, kissing back happily.
"Oh, enjoy it while it lasts."

“You know I will.” He teased, holding the other close. He loved all these little moments they had together.

Arien wrapped his arms securely around Rafael, tucking his head under the man's chin.
"Of course you will," he hummed.

“You know me darling, if you let me win at something, I will be gloating about it.” He laughed.

"Mm, but you look so handsome when you get an ego boost," Arien pointed out, giggling.

“Why thank you.” He grinned. “I’ll just have to take your word for it on that one I guess.” He said as he ruffled Arien’s hair.

"Mhm, you bet you do." Arien laughed softly. He hummed, nuzzling against Rafael's jaw.

Rafael sighed contently, holding Arien close to him. “Mmm…you’re so comfy.” He mumbled, smiling happily.

"So are you," Arien agreed quietly. "I wanna stay in your arm forever…"

“Who says we can’t just stay like this forever?” He replied, adjusting his grip on the other man and nuzzling closer to him.

"Society," Arien mumbled, none to happy with it. He chuckled some, tucking himself close.

“Aww well fuck society then!” He declared, chuckling some, very very pleased with himself.

"Yeah!" Arien laughed, hugging Rafael close. "Just, like, without tearing down the capital, maybe."

“Yeahhhh.” He agreed. “Who would even try to tear down the capital? That’s so stupid.” He snorted, rolling his eyes.

"It is," Arien agreed. "But there are plenty of idiots in this world."
