“Of course dearest. I’m here for you.” This whole situation was making him even more nervous than he’d been before about what would happen to Arien after he died.

Arien wouldn't be able to handle it if Rafael died, and definitely not any time soon. The vampire pulled himself closer to Rafael, nuzzling against him.

“It’s okay…everything’s okay…” he reassured softly, giving Arien as much time as he needed to feel somewhat safe again. He wouldn’t let anyone take him from Arien’s side ever again.

Arien let out a shaky sigh, nodding some. It would be, he knew it. He just… he had to wait for it. Yeah, wait! If he waited long enough, these feelings would go away…

Rafael kept his arms wrapped around Arien, humming a soft tune under his breath, trying to calm Arien.

Arien relaxed into Rafael's touch the longer this continued, finally pulling away some.
"Sorry for that," he said, chuckling softly. "I ruined dinner…"

“You didn’t ruin anything, darling.” He reassured, kissing Arien’s forehead and letting go of the other. “Are you okay?”

Arien leaned some into the kiss, staying close to Rafael.
"If you say so… and I'm okay, promise."

He pulled away, nodding a bit. “Good…I’m here for you okay? Just remember that.” He smiled at him.

"I will…" Arien smiled some back, hugging Rafael again quickly.
"I love you…"

His smile widened as he held Arien in his arms. “I love you too.” He said, his body relaxing a bit.

Arien smiled, just a bit more, kissing Rafael's neck lightly. He was relaxed as well.

He hummed happily at Arien’s kisses. “You are the most amazing boyfriend in the entire universe, did you know that?”

Arien blushed some, both at the sentiment and the fact Rafael called Arien his boyfriend.
"I'd argue second best, seeing as you're sitting right here with me."

“No, no, no. You are the best boyfriend, I’m not taking no for an answer.” He said, leaning over to kiss Arien softly.

"Mm… no." Arien laughed some into the kiss. "Love you, but that's all you're gonna get out of me~"

He chuckled. “Fine…we’ll agree to disagree.” He said, ruffling Arien’s hair.

Arien huffed some.
"I suppose so." He giggled some, leaning over to kiss Rafael's cheek.

He smiled, leaning into the contact. He couldn’t be happier being able to stay at Arien’s side. He truly did love him, and would do anything to keep him safe.

Arien wrapped his arms around Rafael's neck, pecking his lips lightly.
"This is amazing," he mumbled softly. "You're amazing."

((Glad you’re back, sad to hear about the burnout part tho :/))

“You’re not so bad yourself, darling.” He teased, chuckling softly before giving Arien a peck on the lips himself.

"You betcha!" Arien giggled a bit, resting his head on Rafael's shoulder.

Rafael smiled, hugging Arien tightly with one arm. “I love you.”

"I love you too." Arien smiled back, hugging Rafael just as tight in turn. He didn't want to move, not at all.

They stayed like that for a few minutes until Rafael pulled away. “We should probably clean all this up now, hm?”

"Yeah, I think so." Arien giggled a bit. He took his arms from around Rafael's neck, turning to pick up his empty plate.

Rafael smiled, picking up his own plate. He headed over to the sink, turning on the water. Once he felt Arien at his side, he jokingly flicked some of the water at him.

Arien had followed Rafael to the kitchen, humming some. He jumped a bit when the water was flicked at him.
"Ah!" The vampire laughed a bit, flicking some at Rafael in turn.

Rafael laughed, gasping dramatically when Arien flicked some water back at him. “You fiend!”

"I know!" Arien laughed, going to hug Rafael. Of course, he'd gotten his hand wet before running it through Rafael's hair with a soft hum and giggle.
