"I love you more than the grains of sand in the earth. I know I'll over you for hundreds of years to come…" Arien smiled.
"I love you more than the grains of sand in the earth. I know I'll over you for hundreds of years to come…" Arien smiled.
“That really is an honor you know? To be loved by you.” He smiled. “I’d be happy if that’s the only thing I’m ever known for…loving you.”
Arien blushed, smiling softly.
"That makes two of us, then. I truly never did think someone as wonderful as you could ever love something like me…"
He hummed softly. “But darling you’re the most wonderful person in the entire world.” He said with a smile.
Arien giggled just a bit.
"Mm, I must disagree. After all, I'm with someone much better."
“No, no, no! You’re the most amazing one.” He argued teasingly, laughing softly under his breath.
"No way!" Arien laughed. "I will not allow you to think this way."
“Nope! Too late! I’m not changing my mind! You are the superior one in this relationship. Though I am most definitely the dominant one.” He of course, grumbled the last part under his breath.
Arien was blushing from the first part of the sentence, but he didn't quite catch the last part.
"What?" he asked softly, "I didn't catch the last part entirely…"
“Uhhhhh…nothing?” He said, trying to not be suspicious but sounding suspicious as hell.
Arien raised an eyebrow.
"Mmm? Why is it I don't believe you? Com'ooon, tell me!" Arien giggled softly.
“Nope you didn’t hear the first time so you don’t get to know. At least not right now. You’ll know eventually….probably after I get my vision back.”
Arien whined softly.
"Well, good thing it shook be back soon! We just have to go to the healer's again…"
“Mhm. That is the only other reason we’re leaving the house besides getting my things.” He said, kissing Arien’s cheek affectionately.
"Yeah! We should be really close to getting you healed." Arien leaned into the kiss, nuzzling into Rafael.
“I’m glad…I miss seeing your beautiful face.” He said with a charming smile, hugging Arien to him tightly.
Arien hugged back, kissing Rafael's cheek.
"I hope I don't disappoint," he joked.
Rafael laughed. “Yes because if you do disappoint I’m most definitely leaving.” He said jokingly.
Arien huffed a bit, hiding the anxiety that Rafael would in the back of his mind.
"Mm… Well then, I'll have to make sure I don't!"
(….. :( …..)
He smiled a bit, kissing Arien’s cheek. “You’re so cute. You know I’ll love you no matter what.”
Arien nodded, keeping his cheery mood up for Rafael.
"That's good to know," he said, hugging Rafael tight.
He wrapped his arms tightly around Arien, having to admit he was slightly worried about the other. It wasn’t that Arien was acting like something might be wrong, it’s that he wasn’t acting that way at all. From what Rafael had heard, Arien had gone through a lot while he’d been gone. So for him to just seem completely better automatically seemed a little suspicious. But for now, he didn’t call the vampire out on it.
Arien buried his head in Rafael's shoulder. He wasn't okay, not by a long shot, but he would act like he was. He felt like he had to, so Rafael wouldn't feel guilty.
Rafael rested a gentle hand on the back of Arien’s head, trying to make him feel safe. He held Arien as tightly as he could, as if to reassure the other that he wasn’t going anywhere.
Arien let out a breath, willing the shakiness away.
"I love you," he murmured, pushing a bit closer to the man. He didn't want to ever leave his side, not ever again.
“I love you too…and I’m right here.” He reassured, rubbing Arien’s back gently. He hated seeing Arien upset like this.
Arien let out a low hum, holding tightly on to the back of Rafael's shirt.
"Please don't leave," he said, voice soft and maliable. He couldn't handle it, not ever again.
“I won’t. Not ever again unless you want me to. I promise.” He said softly, kissing the top of Arien’s head.
"T-Thank you…" Arien leaned into the kiss, willing himself not to cry.
