Jade nodded a little and sat back in her chair.
Jade nodded a little and sat back in her chair.
Alex headed into the kitchen to put the plates away.
Jade smiled softly and held Killian’s hand again.
Killian smiled a little at her.
Jade blushed softly and smiled back, her thumb tracing a pattern on his hand.
He smield again, kissing her cheek.
Jade giggled softly, her blush turning another hue darker. She gave his hand a slight squeeze before returning the kiss.
Killian squeezed her hand back softly.
Jade smiled and resumed tracing the pattern on his hand.
He smiled a little at her.
She smiled softly back at him.
He kissed her cheek again.
She giggled lightly and kissed his in return.
He smiled again. Alex came back, taking the leftovers to put them in the fridge.
Jade smiled a little at Alex when she saw him come in, though she was apparently nervous. Mostly just from not knowing what to say or do despite feeling like she should.
"So." Alex began, then stopped, obviously a little unsure what to do as well.
“Yeah…” Jade nodded, sharing the awkward sentiment but still leaving an opportunity for Alex to finish his thought or come up with a new one.
He laughed a little. "Uh, what now?"
Jade chuckled softly. “I… don't know. This is my first time meeting someone's family.” she admitted. Sophie's family lived out of town and she only visited them on holidays… usually.
Alex laughed a little. "Yeah, uh, hm."
Max rolled his eyes, standing. "Well, the way I see it, we can hang around the house, or we can go somewhere."
"Did you have someplace in mind?" Jade asked, perking up a little at the possibility.
Max hummed a little. "Well, it dependable what you all are in the mood for. Obviously we can't go out to eat, since we just did."
Jade shrugged but chuckled a little at the second comment. "True… Honestly, I'm open to ideas."
"Hmm. I know of this neat oldstyle arcade, a little bookstore that's great for hanging out in, uhm…we could always go see a movie." Max listed off.
Jade laughed lightly and shook her head. "Oh, you don't want to go to a new movie with me. I nitpick at the details and drive my roommate crazy with it." she smiled a little shyly. "But I think the arcade sounds nice."
Max laughed a little. "Alright, sounds great." He replied. "You two got a vehicle, or do you want or need to ride with Alex and I?"
"I have a motorcycle." she assured, smiling at the couple. "So, if you two get bored or want to ditch us, we won't be stranded." she couldn't resist teasing.
He laughed a little. "Alright, alright. I'll send Killian the address, and we can meet you guys at the arcade?" He suggested.
"Sounds good to me." Killian said.
Jade nodded with a grin. "That's fine with me too."
"Alright. You two get going, Alex and I will be there soon." Max replied, pulling out his phone to send the address.
