Rafael happily let the other drag him to the couch, when they got there he pulled him into a similar seating arrangement as they had been in earlier, Arien resting on top of Rafael’s chest.

Arien smiled, resting his head on Rafael's chest. He could hear the other's heartbeat, and it made him smile more.

One of Rafael’s hands found it’s way to Arien’s hair while the other found the remote, turning on the tv. “Can you find something good for us to watch?” He asked, handing the other the remote.

"Mm…" Arien accepted the remote, flipping through the channels until he finally settled on an older show. He hummed a bit, smiling softly.

He wrapped his arms around Arien, kissing his cheek before laying his head back on the couch, just listening to the show.

Arien grinned, lacing his arms around Rafael's neck. He placed a little kiss to Rafael's chest, seeing as he couldn't reach the others head without moving.

He smiled, lapsing into content silence, only to interrupt it a few minutes later with a random question. “Do you ever miss the sun?” He asked.

Arien tilted his head a bit.
"Well… Sometimes, yeah," he admitted.
(just not the sun god)

“Hm…” he commented quietly, not really wanting to say anything else.

Arien rested his head back down on Rafael's chest. He let out a soft hum, nixing his cheek against Rafael a bit.

Rafael could feel his mind wandering, working itself into an anxious state. ‘He hasn’t even asked you to think about it yet Rafael, why are you trying to decide right now?’ He berated himself.

Arien glanced up at Rafael after a bit, eyebrows furrowing together.
"Can I ask why you wanted to know?" He asked, voice soft with concern.

“Just curious.” He replied, which wasn’t even a lie…he just wasn’t telling the whole truth. Of course though he automatically felt bad about deceiving Arien.

Arien nodded just a bit at that.
"Well," Arien explained further, "I miss being able to go outside whenever I want. I have to either take extreme precautions to go outside and draw attention to myself, or regulate myself to just going out at night."

“That’s too bad…the daytime’s pretty nice sometimes..” he said softly, resting his chin on top of Arien’s head.

"Yeah…" Arien let out a soft hum, leaning up under Rafael's chin a bit. "I can still enjoy it sometimes, of course, but it's a lot of hassle."

Rafael merely hummed back a ‘mhm’ in response, his arms tightening a bit around Arien. He tried to just relax for now, pushing the subject out of his mind.

With a happy sound, Arien let it drop. He kissed Rafael's cheek lightly, then tucked his head back under the human's.
"I love you…"

He smiled weakly. “I love you too…” he said softly, focusing back on the tv.

Arien let out a soft hum, turning his head a bit to watch the show playing. He was relaxed, obviously enjoying time with Rafael like this.

Rafael started messing with Arien’s hair, humming quietly, a soft smile on his face.

Arien smiled as Rafael played with his hair, leaning into the touch. He hummed some, soft and pliant.

Occasionally Rafael planted small kisses on Arien’s face. He liked this, it made him happy to have someone so special.

Rien blushed, pushing his face into Rafael's neck. He was grinning, delighted with even these simple acts.

Rafael’s smile widened, and he hugged Arien softly. “I love you…so much.”

"I love you too," Arien said softly. "More than anyone else I've loved…" He placed a kiss to Rafael's skin lightly.

“Same here. More than anything else in the entire world.” He said, laughing happily.

Arien laughed lightly, hugging Rafael.
"I'm glad to know~" He grinned.

“Except maybe food.” He said jokingly. “Yeah food’s pretty great, don’t know if you can beat that.”

"Mm, I don't have the problem of having to choose," Arien teased a bit. He kissed Rafael lightly on the lips.
