I'm sorry i'm late! I was asleep- also- I guess im not leaving notebook? idk- that'll be on the table- also! Yes! you and Flamepaw can still join Mosis! ))

(Man. Now I feel bad that Shadowpaw has trust issues and not-too-great social skills.)
Shadowpaw hesitated. "Uh…" She hadn't wanted to go in the first place, and if she said no, Adderpaw might ask why. Even so… "I… I wasn't planning on going…" She said, scuffing the snowy ground with her paw and without thinking, she added, "It wouldn't turn out too great if I went anyway." As soon as the words left her mouth, Shadowpaw realized she had said too much. Mousedung! Why can't I just keep quiet?

Adderpaw had sat back down, his mouth opened a bit and his tail had flopped down to his side. "you weren't gonna go? and what're you mean it wouldn't turn out to great?" he mewed, his reply a bit more louder than he attended. (words? is that how I word??) When he saw an elder, which was Gingerflake's mother Snowbird, lift her head from the fresh-kill pile to turn at him and Shadowpaw, he looked away. "uh..sorry." he grumbled, not really sounding apologetic. "but what do you mean? The Leaf-bare Ball is amazing! plus, I don't think you even went last time!"

(gasp Shadowpaw being emotional!? Whaaaaat?)
"I…" Shadowpaw looked down at her paws, feeling more awkward and nervous then she had ever felt in her life. "I just… I don't… I'm not very…good…with others. Except for Hollypaw. The first time I went to a Gathering, I got into a fight with some WindClan apprentice." He had called her and Hollypaw rogues, so he deserved that clawed ear, but she still got in trouble. What was his name? Crystalpaw? "I haven't gone to another Gathering since. I always pretended I wasn't feeling well and stayed in the medicine den while everyone left." She glanced up at Adderpaw. "It's not that I don't want to go with you, I wouldn't really mind hanging out. It's just…" She looked back at her paws, "It's better for everyone if I don't go."
(By the way, I just feel like Crystalpaw is the most likely WindClan cat to call Shadow and Holly rogues.)

Adderpaw looked up at her, his amber eyes softened and his tail rested gently on her flank. "Shadowpaw…I think you just bumped into the wrong cat when you first went" he joked, when Shadowpaw didn't budge, he coughed. "Sorry. Not the right time…" he paused as he looked up, moving his tail under her chin she looked up and their eyes met. (a bit to romantic-y but hey- can't help it. I'm ♫♪Helpless~♫♪) Adderpaw smiled and then spoke. "Shadowpaw, can you please try to come this time? for me?"

"Thank you.." he mewed, when he was about to pull away to speak again, Shadowpaw pressed against him, but only for a few heart-beats. Adderpaw pulled away and smiled, a genuine, kind smile. "now I gotta go- I haven't finished my mask yet.." he sighed, looking away with a grumble "I mean, I already have the mask colored- I choose the best color, black- and I have the shape of but I just need to add my accessories! ooh! I have an idea!" drawing a bad sketch in the snow covered ground he pointed out what he did. "okay, so, im thinking about having two holly leaves on the sides and then a huge pine leaf in the middle! like…this!" he looked at the molly with a confident smirk, "What do you think, Shadowpaw?"

Shadowpaw nodded, her heart skipping a beat when Adderpaw smirked at her. "Sounds great." She said, looking at her paws. "I uh.. I could help you get the leaves…if you want." She added, looking at him with a nervous smile.

Adderpaw laughed, pushing father ahead, he could see the twolegplace fence coming up from up ahead in the distance. Then he noticed a massive oak tree in his peripheral (is that how you spell??) vision, slowing down slightly, he notice the very few leave that clung to the branches, where dusted with snow. "Watch this!" he called over his shoulder. Swiftly turning towards the tree, he lept gracefully over a puddle full of snowmelt and launched on the tree. Crawling upward, and using his claws to help him, he made it to the first low hanging branch. The snow and the branch shook from under his paws. Perking his ears up he could hear the faint sound of a squirrel scattering from above. I don't really like squirrels…but..maybe I could impress Shadowpaw! climbing up higher, he looked up to see a small pale ginger squirrel dash upward onto another thick branch. Shadowpaw called from down below but he couldn't hear what she had said, the scent of prey and the need to impress was too strong. Leaping up again, he saw the squirrel facing him. Its beady little eyes full of fear, Adderpaw tried pushing himself up but his hind paw slipped from underneath him. The squirrel took its chance to escape, gasping, Adderpaw swiped his paw and caught the squirrels tail in between his claws. The squirrel squeaked in surprise. Im gonna catch something! nipping forward, he got to squirrel's tail in his jaws and killed it with a awkward killing swipe. still holding the fresh kill in his jaws, he jumped down, leaping from branch to branch until he finally saw Shadowpaw looking up at him. Jumping into the snow pile, he flicked his tail in greeting. "Look what I caught!" he mewed, puffing his chest out.

"Nice job!" Shadowpaw mewed. "But I think I can catch something bigger." She gave Adderpaw a mischievous grin and pounced at him, pinning him beneath her paws.

Adderpaw's catch flew out of his mouth and he gasped in surprise as he was pinned to the ground. Adderpaw blinked up at her, his amber eyes full with confusion before it disappeared and he smirked, not saying a single word, Adderpaw bent up, licking her cheek. "guess you did catch something." he purred.

Shadowpaw's eyes widened and she felt heat rush to her face. "Yeah… I-I guess I d-did." She muttered, letting out a nervous laugh. She took a step back to let him up, looking at her paws without a word.

Adderpaw stood up, shaking the snow from his black-and-ginger striped pelt. Looking over at Shadowpaw he purred, walking over, Adderpaw bent down, looking into Shadowpaw's stunning eyes before he pressed his nose gently to hers, after a moment he pulled away and licked it. "come on." he mewed, standing up. "lets go find some leaves!"

Shadowpaw blinked at Adderpaw in surprise, then nodded. "Right. Leaves." She turned, spotting a holly bush a few fox lengths away. "Aha! Found some." She bounded over to the bush, looking back at Adderpaw with a smile. A real, genuine smile. How is he doing this? Making me nervous, and making me smile?
(Shadowpaw is a very confused bean.)
