Nutkit meowed loudly, seemingly a battle cry, and he and his siblings pounced onto Gingerflake, pinning her down. "We have subdued the monster!" He called out loudly to his siblings, who cheered in reply. He kneaded Gingerflake's chest with his tiny paws, his legs so short that they weren't even visible in the she cat's fur.
Grovethorn came over with a soft sigh when he noticed that his children were attacking their clanmates again. Nutkit often led ambushes like this. He picked Nutkit up by the scruff and pulled him off, and the other two swiftly followed. "I'm sorry for them, Gingerflake…"

(I know dragon replied but i wanna respond to this one frgtehfdsdfrgsfd–)

Gingerflake laughed, sitting up and shaking her thin but now snow covered pelt like a dog. Her ginger patches now emerging through the thick snow. "It's fine." she mewed at the ShadowClan deputy who sighed. Gingerflake smiled, "they sure know how…ambush others." she heard Grovethorn let out another deep sigh, turning towards Nutkit she whispered to him. "Next time you ambush someone, you should get someone to go under their paws while the other two leap onto the back. I used to do that all the time as an apprentice with my denmates, works like a charm." Nutkit looked up at her, a look of excitement and surprised mix on his face before he turned and began to quickly whisper something with his siblings.

"Well, they shouldn't be ambushing their clanmates." Grovethorn ushered the kits away so they wouldn't bother Gingerflake anymore. "I know they just want to practice, but they're causing more trouble than it's worth. They're only kits. They've got plenty of time to practice, and besides, they'll get plenty of more thorough training when they're apprentices. I know they can't wait until they're six moons, but I've been trying to get them to be more patient with things… it's hard to keep six kittens out of trouble at all times." He laughed weakly.

(Can someone remind me how many apprentices are in ShadowClan? Is it just Clearpaw, Hollypaw and Shadowpaw, or are there more?)

Theres also Brokenpaw and Adderpaw. Brokenpaw is a bit shy and Adderpaw is Berrynose rude. ))

Gingerflake sighed and gave the deputy a kind smile. "Im sure it is." she turned to see a hunting patrol returning with a surprising amount of prey. Palepatch, one of ShadowClan best huntress, had a giant crow in her jaws. Adderpaw, a black and ginger tom, padded out from behind the dilute blue and cream she-cat. His maw filled with three small mice. "wow. look at that." she mewed, "guess we'll be good with the prey sharing at the gathering? hm?"

"Mhmm. The clan has been doing well these past few moons." Grovethorn smiled gently and nodded in approval as the patrol returned. "And we have many talented hunters in the clan, so I'm sure we won't go hungry, even in the middle of leaf-bare like this. I'll be leading a patrol myself soon, so hopefully it'll be fruitful. What have you been doing?" He asked.

"What have I been doing?" she asked, when Grovethorn nodded she shrugged. "I've just been doing whatever need to be done, I mean, there was that one time ago we teamed up with RiverClan and WindClan to fight ThunderClan." she flicked her ear as she remembered her father who died in the battle, she paused as she remembered her father. I should've been there to help him..Littlehop didn't need to die by Whitestar's paws and yet he did.. shaking the thought out of her head, she continued. "I mean, I helped train the apprentices, but that was a one time thing.." she sighed. "I guess I've been doing all the regular things a warrior need to do." she mewed, now facing him.

Grovethorn nodded a bit. "That's good. Hopefully the ball will help bring up cats' spirits, hmm?" He got to his paws and noticed that his kits were harassing another warrior. Sighing deeply, he turned to go and fetch them again. "It was nice talking to you, but I have to stop my children from tearing the camp apart now." He dipped his head in farewell before leaving.

Gingerflake chuckled and watched the deputy leave. Getting to her own paws she decided to go hunting, maybe she'd see Maplepatch by the ThunderClan border.

Adderpaw had placed the three mice his mentor, Palepatch, had caught. He looked down at them, he stomach rumbled, seeming ordering him to eat, he looked around, making sure no cat saw him take the bird, he bent down to grab it when he gasped and felt towards the ground, as soon as the icy-chilling snow touched his pelt, he jumped up in the air. His ginger and black striped tail stuck up, bristled with fright. "Hey! Watch it!" He growled, the small mane of tuft around his neck was fluffed up as he spun around to face the cat who pushed him. When he noticed it was Shadowpaw he blinked, then dipped his head down, his ears burning with embarrassment. "o-oh.. sorry." his normal loud and proud tone had softened and was now no less than a whisper. Brokenpaw, his sister and also the medicine cat apprentice, rushed over. Her sleek night black pelt popped against the snow. When Adderpaw noticed his sister he jumped away. Brokenpaw squeaked, "s-sorry! I just wanted to see if you where alright!" "Im fine! and keep your yucky herbs to yourself!" he grumbled, Brokenpaw blinked, her amber eyes clouded with guilt. "s-sorry." Adderpaw scoffed "and stop saying sorry, you don't need to apologize for everything!" "i'm sorry- i mean- uh." Brokenpaw nervously flicked her tail, "I'll just go and see it Rainstripe any help for gathering herb or…something.." Brokenpaw quickly spun, pelting to the medicine cat den, her dark tail disappeared in the shadows of the cavern. Adderpaw flicked his ear in an apologetic manner, "Sorry about her…" when he noticed Hollypaw and Clearpaw he cleared his throat. "I mean- uh- you guys ask anyone to the ball yet? or something.." Adderpaw mumbled something under his breath which sounded like a quick and quiet.

• Adderpaw is really rude and loud but if he likes you or sees you as a potential friend, he'll sorta be nice to you- nicer than he is to Brokenpaw at least-

• Brokenpaw is a Ravenpaw + Alderheart fusion. she's nervous 24/7.

Bluebell and Hickory are the same age. I guess I just forgot to make Hickory an apprentice- (in this everyone is aged up by one or two moons-) i'll fix that right away! sorry for the confusion! ))

I decided to do a swap-a-roo- Bluebell seemed to fit with Ginger imo and Shadowpaw and Goldensong (Goldensong is based on one of my crushes–) seems to fit with Shadowpaw. ))

Shadowpaw looked at Adderpaw. "Uh, nope." She said with a flick of her tail, "I haven't even thought about asking anybody." She tilted her head. "Why do you ask?"

Adderpaw stuttered, his face felt warm. "erm- well I- I was just- I dunno…" he stopped, feeling like a complete mouse-brain. I need to relax…but I can't! this is to nerve-wracking for me! He pushed his face with the back of his paw, it felt warm to the touch. He cleared his throat. "I-I was just, i dunno. Wondering…" he mumbled, purposefully looking away from her. His heart raced and he was certain the entire camp could hear.

Shadowpaw glanced at Hollypaw, who shrugged and walked off with Clearpaw. She turned back to Adderpaw. "So… You were wondering what?" She sat and curled her tail over her paws. "Are you okay?" She added, noticing his nervous expression.
