(I do not deserve your kindness. At least over the however many month long break I got better at rping or I hope so so this won't happen again!)

Griffin snickered and inched his way towards the fire, grabbing a canteen of water and stifling his laughter. Taking a swig and brushing his hair with his hand, he tosses the canteen of water over to Dierra.

"Come on, Gwiffin! Let's play catch!" Ava cooed to me. Back then, she had a chubby face and a big ol' smile. Her Messy blond hair trailed behind her as she ran up to me. I had to finish my homework, though, else I might not get honor's. Then she said the one thing I couldn't resist, "Pwease? I love you more than chocolate cake!"
That day we threw an old baseball I found to each other. When I found it, I told Ava that it had magical powers, that the one who keeps it has good luck and fortune in their future. She still keeps it to this day, even if I once threw the ball at her head while playing catch.

Griffin, kneeling over Ari, smiled before widening his arms and-CLAP!-went his hands above Ari's sleepy head. If Griffin wasn't any good at flirting, he was at least a good jokester when the time was right.

(very sorry for not posing earlier, I had a rough night and was exhausted)
Ari jumped awake in an instant, blinking away her sleepiness and scowling at Griffin as she stood up. She didn't say anything, just made her way over to Adrian and sat down next to him where he had taken a seat.

Dierra tried her tickling tactic on Cossett, but the girl didn't even budge, curled up on her side with one arm tucked neatly under her head. She frowned, glancing over at Griffin and motioning for him to help her wake up their curly haired teammate.

Griffin pouts at Cosset, sneaking close to her and getting close to her face. Sucking in a breath, Griffin talked loudly in her ear. "Hurry, they're coming to get us!" He was being a jerk, he knew, but the face she would make would be priceless.

@gracehustle

Griffin's words were enough to cause Cossett to fly awake, scrambling to her feet with a look of something between fear and anger on her face. She glanced around, eyes locking with Dierra for a second and when she saw the girl hide a smile and glance at Griffin, she whiped around to the male and scowled at him. "You idiot," She hissed, staring the male down fiercely. Cossett was the same height as Griffin and she was thankful for it. It made her anger that much more intimidating.

Griffin burst in laughter as he stood, shoving Cosset lightly. "It was funny though. And sooner or later, the other group will come. Maybe not now, but you never know~" Griffin moved his hands up and wiggled his fingers in a 'spooky' manner, only to bust out laughing again. "Man, the endorphin is running for me today!"

@gracehustle

She scowled at him, but seemed a little less on guard when he laughed, grumbling, "You could've just woken me up normally." Cossett stepped back, making her way to Cassian as she rubbed her eyes sleepily.

Dierra snickered at Cossett's reaction, shrugging her shoulders and replying easily, "We tried, you sleep like a rock." She grinned at Griffin, making her way over to him and bumping him with her arm, "I was sure that she was going to punch you."

Deleted user

"Punch her? Naw. I would let Dierra do that before I decided to wake you up unconventionally." Griffin smiled at Cosset. "I hope we can still be friends?" He asked the question as seriously as he could while stifling his laughter.

@gracehustle

"You're on rocky ground," Cossett replied, glancing at Griffin, "But yes…we can be friends still." She turned back to Cassian as she started waking up, leaving Dierra to talk to him.

"No, I thought Cossett was going to punch you. For waking her up like that," Dierra replied with a laugh, poking him as she glanced around the woods. Even if it was a fun morning so far, she was nervous about the noise they were making. Who knew where the other team was, and if they were close, they probably knew exactally how to hunt them down then.

"Oh, pshh. I could take her on! Right Dierra?" Griffin sighed deeply, turning towards Dierra.

"You alright? Look–I'm sorry that I made so much noise last night, but by know the other group practically knows that we're here. We just gotta wait it out and see what happens. Be on our guard." Griffin put a comforting hand on Dierra's shoulder.

@gracehustle

"I'm fine," Dierra said, nodding a little and snapping out of her worries enough to make them less prominent in her mind, "I'm just wondering if we should get moving again. Last thing we want is to get ambushed, especially since they probably know we're here." She glanced up at him, then around at their teammates, nodding to herself again to try to keep from letting the what-if situations get to her.

"Probably. Let's try to get something to eat first, though. Don't want to work on an empty stomach." Griffin offered a smile. You dork, start actually working for once and stop paying attention to Dierra! She might as well die in the next round! Griffin flinched away and started towards the rest of the group.

"Hey Ari, that was payback for betraying us, okay?" Griffin joked, smiling at his companion.

@gracehustle

Ari's face turned red and she glanced away, mumbling something inaudible in response. Clearly she was embarrassed about betraying them, and the look in her eyes showed that she was sorry, even if she didn't say it.

"Dibs on hunting, you're coming with Cassian," Cossette said, nudging the male with her foot. In response he sighed and got up as she talked, "We'll be right back. How much are we looking to bring back? And just foraging or meat that would need to be cooked?" She smiled at Griffin, slipping her weapon into her hand and waiting patiently for instructions.
