Melissa kept her face buried in his shoulder, humming softly. “I love you, too… so much..”

Lucas started playing with Melissa's hair again. "Still feeling okay?" He asked.

Melissa nodded, sighing softly. "I guess. I know what you mean about being tired, though… I'm drained…"

"Yeah…" Lucas nuzzled against Melissa again and sighed. "Is it dinner time yet?"

"Probably…" Melissa mumbled, staying curled up in his arms. "But I don't feel like checking… I'm comfortable."

"Alrighty… I guess we'll just make it when we get hungry, then." Lucas hummed softly.

Melissa sighed a little, nuzzling up against him. "Mm… are you hungry? I felt like we just ate…"

"Not super hungry right now, no… I'm not sure how long ago it was when we ate last."

"Right… well, um, do we want to do something until dinner?" Melissa asked softly, snuggling up against him.

"Sure, if you want to." Lucas shrugged. "I'm happy to do whatever you wanna do."

Melissa pulled away from him smiling softly. "Mm… could we go outside and play in the snow some? I'm kind of tired being stuck in the house."

"Sounds good to me, Mel. Wanna build another snowman?" He asked softly.

"Sure! I bet our first snowman is getting lonely." Melissa hummed, getting up off the couch. "C'mon, let's go get coats."

"Alrighty!" Lucas followed her up and went to go get their coats.

Melissa pulled two from the closet, offering him one. "Mm, you want a hat? Or gloves?"

"Sure!" Lucas pulled on his coat and helped Melissa into her own.

"Thanks, love." Melissa hummed softly, reaching for the bin of hats and gloves. Grabbing both things, she handed them over to Lucas before grabbing her own.

Lucas pulled on his hat and gloves and kissed her before leading her out the front door, grinning brightly.

Melissa smiled sweetly, letting him pull her along. "Come on, Cody." She called as they were practically out the door in the front yard.

Cody galloped out behind him and plowed into the snow, seeming very pleased with himself. Lucas laughed a bit at the dog as he watched him.

Melissa giggled, dropping down into the snow besides Cody. "You silly puppy." She hummed, rubbing his belly.

Cody whined excitedly and rolled around in the snow. Lucas dropped down to the ground as well and scratched behind Cody's ears.

Melissa kept up a bright smile, dropping her head on his shoulder. "Mm… I love you~"

"I love you too~" Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek and started rolling up some snow for the new snowman.

When he started gathering up the snow, Melissa hummed softly, attempting to do the same thing. "Mm… what are we gonna do about dinner, tonight?"

"No idea… maybe we can go out and get something?" Lucas suggested, shrugging a bit.

"Mm, sure, we can do that." Melissa nodded smiling still. "I'd prefer not to go to the place where I work, though."

"Yeah, that's fine… anywhere in particular you wanna go?" Lucas asked softly.

Melissa shook her head, packing the snow in for the base of the snowman. "No, not really… maybe italian? That doesn't sound too bad…"

"Sure, I think I know an Italian place around here… when do you wanna go?" Lucas asked.
