"oh okay. How long have you guys been doing this?" She asked Amara as they continued there walk. "what's Rais like?"

"This is our first meet. We get minor reports here and there," Amara says as they cruise through the streets, "Rais? He's okay. He was trained to use his element at a young age. He found ways to use his magic to fight, that's when Arcanis found him. He appeared in the form of an army recruitment officer and convinced him to join "project shadow". It was really an interesting way to be fooled."

"Just okay? So you guys arent like friends or anything?" stop that. she asked amara without glancing in her direction. "He must be incredibly gullible, either that or just plain stupid. It would be nice if he was gullible and not stupid because i don't think i could handle another idiot to deal with. You know? it would be nice to have another girl helping us out, since all we have been running into is guys."

Amara laughs. She stops at the entrance of the forest, "I meant he's not a complete murderous asshole like before. He's…changed. better."

"oh? Well I would say I will be judge of that but you and I both know I can't say anything about being a murderous asshole." She shoved her hands in her pockets. "let's just hope he's actually a decent guy, and not just trying to be fake to get-" she immediately stopped herself from being innopropriate and switched to "to you and Ignis so he can kill us all." Yes so appropriate 🙂🙃

They approached the station, various tents were stationed and several tables were set. Each person looking like normal citizens. Amara approached a table labeled Flame, where a man stood, presumably Rais.

Rais was an average build about 5'9 in height, with dirty blonde hair and solid blue eyes. His left arm had a tribal tattoo. He looks at Amara then at Kali, "You must be Kali. It is quite a pleasure. I do owe an apology for…you know. Shadow and…stuff."

Amara snaps at Rais to get his attention, "What have you got?"

Rais looks down at the papers and a map of an unknown island, "This seal is remarkable! We haven't had much luck approaching the island but so far the Shadows haven't either. The strongest creatures surround it…there are reports of a…" he whispers softly, "dragon."

"yeah well it's whatever, just prove yourself that your not under his 'control' anymore and we will be fine. If you think I'm being rude it's because mutiple people I trusted betray me so I'm not so keen and just trusting people off a whim." She had her deadpanned or resting b face look on her as she followed along the conversation. "A dragon might be guarding it? That's awesome, I mean have you tried to maybe I don't know speak to it? Maybe if you guys had a nature elemental that could connect with animals you could get it on our side." She commented.

Amara spoke up to Kali, "Dragons don't speak, and this gives us a bigger chance, along with a new problem. What did this supposed dragon look like?"

"A red scaled dragon with black lining," Rais slides a book full of dragons, "It's him. Their gate was broken. Arcanis studied well, only to be blind on what he sought."

"yes well even if it dosent speak that dosent mean it can't be spoken too and still understand completely. I think it's worth a try but we also can't risk loosing someone huh." She heard the part about 'its him' assuming there's probably some gate arcanis broke or helped break and set the dragons free? Something close to that she would think.

"Thank you. Report to Ignis right away." Rais nodded and reached a far tent, Amara gestured Kali for them to leave, "This is too much. How much do you know of elementals?"

(I feel like I need to read everything to understand what’s going on. What do I need to know? I’ll post a character when I can)

(Okay so the plot and character sheet is in the first page, they killed a major bad guy a few pages ago- right now they are trying to figure out stuff with seals made by past elementals.)
