Ignis waits on the second level for Kali. He tried his best to refrain from sleeping.

Kali walks up to where ignis is. "Im not really got this sort of stuff but, well i wanted to see how you were processing everything including amara abandoning us and i noticed you were tense so i thought i would offer a massage to help if you had any knots and stuff…" she looked away putting a hand to the back of her neck.

Ignis smiled, "Well I am fine. I knew Amara would cower as she saw my birthmark. How could I explain that it just so happens to look like the mark of the most corrupted people on earth? Anyway, I appreciate your concern. I..Is there anything I could do for you?"

"Yeah im not used to being concerned for someone else, I mean not really? i cant really think of much…" she seemed a bit undercertian but was trying not to be too awkward. "sooo about the massage…"

“Thank you, and goodnight,” Alister said, a little dazed but better than before.
“Thanks,” Noel mumbled.
The siblings went up to find a spare room. Which was easy, if they were being honest.
It was a little plain except for the occasional fake plant or abstract painting- almost like it was a hotel room (haha).
Noel turned the lamp on and sat down on the bed. Alister sat next to her, then fell backwards onto it, sighing contentedly. “When was the last time we slept on a real bed?”
“The Johnsons, of course,” she replied, referring to their last foster family.
“That was a rhetorical question, El.”
“Oh.”

Ignis hugged Kali, his eyes slightly glowed as his magic began to fester, "You act tough. I can sense your heart caged in fear." Ignis loosens his grip and looks at her in the eyes. His fiery eyes peering into hers, "Now I know why you're so stubborn."

well she wasnt expecting the hug, but after a few seconds she hugged back anyway. she looked in his fiery eyes listening to his words. so he could see behind her act, great. "oh yeah? why do you think I act so stubborn?" she was trying to keep her voice from cracking but also kinda frustrated he was trying to help her when she just wanted to give him a dang back massage.

Ignis smiles as he begins to back away. His actions completely unexpected, for someone who had his girlfriend run away. He could feel his memories intertwine with Fire. His feelings for Darkness. How he'd do anything to just make her smile and safe from evil. Ignis looked at Kali and saw Darkness herself, "The offer is appreciated, but unnecessary. I am going to clean up the kitchen, after I eat. I'm sure you're in need of rest, but you are welcome to join." Ignis walked through the hallway, with a faded blue wisp floating around him.

when he let go and smiled at her she looked away with a huff crossing her arms but a bit flusterd. "you didn't answer my question idiot." she stared at the side, before hearing him answer her. "I bet your just saying that you don't need it and i bet you would probably enjoy and need it." she huffed following after him. "I guess I could come and give you company, not like I could sleep anyway." she spotted the blue wisp and looking like she was checking him out but was actually just looking at the wisp.

Ignis smiled even more as he stopped quickly and turned, "You mind?" The longer he went on, the more wisps appeared in a faded tone. Ignis even had a faint glow of his own.

"mind what?" she asked him also stopping, she didn't seem to get what he was talking about only noticing more wisps and looking at them.

She sighed, deciding to cut to the chase. “Are you alright with talking about everything now?”
“Um…” he was almost afraid to, and besides, he was tired. But he sat up. “Everything?”
“We can start with dad, if that’s alright.”
He was silent for a moment. “… fine.”
“Did you know? That he was-“
“No,” he cut her off. “Well, now that I know, certain things about him make sense, but that’s it. Do you remember how he always said he wanted to smoke, but he couldn’t?”
“Oh yeah…”
It was one of the days when he was a little less crazy. He was talking to someone on the phone… one of his college friends, maybe? A small, 10 year old Alister had crept up the hallway, seeing if he could sneak by and grab some food without dad noticing. As he did so, he caught him saying, “Aw, if you did come over, I would’ve asked you to get me some smokes. Too bad, haha… yeah, I know I almost died, but I still want some, y’know?”
Another day, he was screaming at Noel for not cleaning her room. Through her tears, she heard him say, “You filthy little devil! I’d blow some smoke into ya, make you as dirty as your little nest!” Later, she wondered why he didn’t have any ‘smoke,’ as he put it, with him at the time.
Alister blinked. “Oh, I remember one time he like… pushed me without having to touch me.”
“Oh, really? I remember one time he was really mad, and there’s seemed to be a sort of… breeze flowing around him?”
“And the time he ran up to us really fast? I wondered about that.”
“Oh yeah!”
Eventually, they became quiet, their minds filled with memories. Then, they both glanced at each other, seeming to realize they were both in the room.
“Your eyes are wet,” Noel’s voice cracked a little.
“You’re shaking,” Alister gave a strained smile.
“I’m sorry.”
He reached his arm around her and pulled her close.
“No need to apologize.”
“It was heavy on my mind…”
“No need to explain.”
“… love you.”
“Love you.”
