"Darkness wasn't selfish. She often asked Light to play with her. When Light refused, she asked the Elders. They agreed and it made Light jealous. Light tortured her. Close to death, she asked the Fire to end her pain by…killing her. Fire turned her into ashes and watched as they scattered. Fire then made a group of hurt people. They were to protect those who are also hurt, to prevent what Darkness went through. Shadows."

"….Light's even more of a bitch then I thought…"She huffed, she thought about that whole situation, how she probably had a light, someone who tortured her if not at lest mentally if not physical. "fire created the shadows huh, whatmade them get so corrupted?" she looked back up at him.

"Light assumed she killed Darkness. So she felt into hole of depression and sadness…she…created her first negative…she became the second darkness." he smiled at Kali, "The second darkness corrupted the Shadows. You and Amara….are both daughters of Light."

"how?…" she was possibly sisters to amara?….well that just makes it even worse…. she looked dejectedly at the ground and at her hands still holding his hands and she dropped them. It should make her feel happy…amara was such a great person, but it just made her feel even worse.

"You two aren't closely related, but still," Ignis felt awkward, but smiled as if it weren't as bad, "Amara doesn't know. And I think…You were born a negative. I doesn't occur at all but it explains how we couldn't find a negative in you. How you were able to resist easily, and why the Shadows want you as bad as Amara and I."

"what do you mean born a negative?" she turned her head to look up at him shoving her hands in her pockets. i wonder if I should tell ignis…he might hate me… she sighed.

Ignis smiled and sighed, "You were born the negative of Light. 'Cause Darkness never bore a child. Amara and I looked at every aspect of each of you when you entered the building. You showed an anomaly in which there wasn't a possible negative. I told Amara to tell you it was void if the subject were to arise. In fact…it is possible for you to obtain the light element."

The fire vanished as the conversation continued, his words remained shaken but calmer in the least. He took out a six inch, white quartz like crystal, it glowing lightly in various colors, "Earlier today, we discovered a document revealing an experimental magic titled "Star Crystal". The information found was written in an ancient dialect not many know anymore. You remember this?"

"I remember you talking about it in the car sure…" She was kinda shocked, she didn't expect this at all. she wasn't prepared so it showed up on her face, her shocked curious face. maybe even a little bit of amazement. she could obtain the power of light? do what amara does?..it didn't seem possible to her. that she could even be close to amara. "Hey ignis…what is Amara's negative?" she bit her lip after asking the question.

"Well…it's darkness of course." Ignis felt curious where Kali was going. He kind of forgot the star crystal conversation, "I believe if…" Ignis looked off in to the hallway and noticed it was darker than usual, "Kali…is that you?"

"Well then does that make me her opposite?" okay so the thing with the fingers where you poke the two of them together, which was weird usually shy or cutesy girls wold do gestures like that and she didn't even realize she was doing it looking away from him. "Hm? i mean I don't think so?"

Ignis immediately storms out of the room in fear, Amara's halo turned to ash. He came back and gestured Kali to follow. When he made his way to Amara's room, he noticed a blackened fog pouring out. Ignis started to worry and looked at Kali. he placed his hand on her shoulder and took out the other halo, it too in ashes. "Shit"

she disapeared and reappeared in the room. "Amara-" she looked around for her, assuming the room would be pitch black dark almost, she could see pretty well but it was still really dark, she went to where she thought amara would be.

Amara was found unconscious on the floor, her hair turned black. Her hands and body gave off darkness. She murmured words only Kali could recognize, she was reciting Kali's cries from time with her step dad. Ignis came through the door by unknown means, "Absorb the excess darkness. I will do my best to slow the process…."

"……"is this….my fault?…. she shook her head when ignis come in and nodded to him. She started absorbing he excess darkness.

She was trying to focus on absorbing the excess darkness but thoughts just came up. If she turns its your faul, this is your fault you shouldn't have been so selfish its your fault she was able to calm herself enough to not visibly shake, she was just hoping ignis wouldn't notice and focus on Amara.

Ignis kneeled down and began to chant. Amara's darkness weakened and she returned to normal. Her hair remained dark blonde. Amara got up from her sleep and appeared frightened. As she saw Kali she immediately hugged her tightly. She felt so upset she came to tears, "I'm sorry…"

Kali was suprised by the sudden hug, tears sprung her eyes. She was relieved that amara was okay and hugged amara tightly. She felt completely awful. "Im sorry Amara…" she apologised to Amara, "I have been thinking bad things about you…I was jealous of you…your such a good person…." she whispered it to amara. "Im sorry…"

"No…" Amara loosened her hug but didn't want to let go, "You don't have to be sorry. I should be. I never knew the hell you went through… what he did to you…"

Ignis smiled.

"….I thought we were going to loose you.." she hugged amara tightly. "You don't have to apologise for anything Amara…you haven't done anything to me…" she continued her tears. "I…..wished you were dead….I'm sorry….i would never want you dead now that I know who you are but when we first met…" she hugged her tight.

she was shaking a little, having not held back

Amara let go, her tears wiping off. She looked at Ignis and showed fear, "I'm scared…I never wanted this."

She sighed, seeing the fear in amara's face. she turned to Ignis, with a look of "do your thing man, comfort your girlfriend." and she let go of amara giving her over to Ignis. "I'll leave you two alone." she turned and went to walk away.

Ignis hugged Amara as she cried in her arms. He did not speak, just warmly embraced her as she began to feel safe, "Igi…I don't know what to do…" Ignis just walked her to the bed as they both lied down. Ignis didn't speak, but somehow it didn't matter. Amara knew she wouldn't be alone in this situation. Her negative. Every time it came to mind, she cringes.

Kali went to her room and sighed. She got up on her bed and pulled her knees to her chest. She started to hum a song, low and barely audible. "If only you knew how much I liked you but I watch your eyes as she walks by..what a sight for sore eyes..brighter then a blue sky…" She gazes out of the window as she softly sings. It helps her cope sometimes. "She's got you mesmerized…. while I die…why would you ever kiss me?…I'm not even half as pretty…you gave her your sweater…it's just pollster but you like her better….I wish I were Heather. Watch as she stands with you holding your hand Pit your arm round her shoulder now I'm getting colder. But how could I hate her she's such an angel but then again kinda wish she were dead as she was walks by…."she sighs not able to finish the song.
