"Right…" Melissa whispered, dropping her head on the pillow. "Tell me when you're ready to get up."
"Right…" Melissa whispered, dropping her head on the pillow. "Tell me when you're ready to get up."
"Mmkay… what time is it?" Lucas asked softly, keeping his face hidden for the time being.
Melissa shrugged, kissing him. "It's after nine. I dunno exactly what time it is." She mumbled, nosing into his shoulder.
"Mm… okay… so we'll probably need to go make breakfast soon…" Lucas yawned a bit and sighed again.
Melissa nodded a little, not noting on it. "Right… what are we doing today, after that?"
Lucas shrugged a bit. "I dunno… anything is fine with me, honestly. Got anything in mind?"
Melissa hesitated, slowly shaking her head. "No, not really…" She mumbled resting her head against his shoulder.
"Mm…" Lucas yawned a bit as he huddled closer. "Maybe we can sit on the roof… or outside in general."
"Yeah, sure…" Melissa stated softly, keeping her head against him. She didn't say much else, sighing weakly.
"You okay?" Lucas asked softly. "Did I do something wrong?" He asked.
“I- I’m fine. Don’t worry about it.” Melissa mumbled, curling up closer. “I mean it.”
"Melissa… please. I wanna know what's wrong…" Lucas sighed. "Is it anything I did?"
“No, not… not exactly.” Melissa shrugged, burying her face in his shoulder. She grew closer, sighing weakly.
"Then what's the problem, darling?" He asked gently, starting to toy with her hair a bit.
“I- I dunno…” Melissa whispered, curling up even more. “I- I just… I… I feel worse than I did yesterday. And- and I… I still don’t know why.”
"Mm… is there anything I can do?" Lucas asked softly, ignoring his own emotional state.
Melissa shook her head, trying to relax. “No- I… I don’t think so…” She whispered as huddled up against him.
"Okay…" Lucas kissed Melissa softly and sighed, burying his face in her shoulder. "I love you…"
Melissa kept quiet, sighing weakly. She acknowledged him with a light nod, not responding otherwise.
Lucas held a bit tighter to Melissa, clearly a bit nervous for her and in general.
Melissa leaned more into his arms, holding on tightly. She buried her face into his chest, holding onto him. “I- I’m sorry… I love you too…” She finally replied, voice coming off as pretty shaky still.
Lucas nodded weakly and tangled himself up with Melissa a bit more. "I… I'm sorry, Mel…" He whispered.
“What for?” Melissa asked softly, wrapping her legs around his. She tried even harder to relax, gripping onto him.
"If… if I did something to upset you…" Lucas sighed, flushing a bit when Melissa moved closer.
“No… no don’t apologize.” Melissa insisted, sighing one last time before pulling back from him. “Don’t worry about it, Lu.”
"But I am worried about it, Mel…" Lucas sighed. "I'm worried I did something to upset you."
Melissa shook her head, holding onto his face before kissing his forehead. “It’s nothing. You really don’t have to worry about it.”
"But it's not nothing, Mel…" Lucas sighed again and closed his eyes. "Please…"
Melissa grew quiet, sighing weakly once more. She shook her head, nuzzling up against him.
"Melissa…" Lucas sighed, pulling back a bit to look down at her.
