She smiled back at him. “That was unexpected.”

He shrugged a shoulder. "What, am I not supposed to kiss you?" He asked.

“Hey, I’m not complaining.” she chuckled.

He smiled at her happily.

She smiled and leaned against him.

He held her close.

She hummed happily at him.

He smiled lightly at her.

She smiled softly back.

He kissed her cheek happily.

She blushed softly before kissing him back.

He hummed just a little, kissing her again.

She smiled at him, though her mind was racing. So… Does this actually mean that we’re dating? I know putting labels on things make it much more complicated than they need to be… Especially with our job choices… It would have been a relief to be able to ask but she didn't want him to feel pressured so she kept these thoughts to herself.

He didn't speak, just kissed her cheek again.
