Ignis and Amara looked at her, realizing her awkwardness towards them, Ignis smiles, "Fine! We'll lower the couple love. Not a date after all." Amara and Ignis smile at each other. Amara turns to Kali, "I know it's a lot, but they're really worth it in the end."
"Thank god." she exhaled actually looking at the menu. "If you say so amara." she shrugged. Eventually ended up picking out some fried chicken and fries with orange cream soda. bc i wish i was eating that right now.
A waiter approached from the crowd, "What can I-" She saw the two, smiled, then turned to Kali, "What can I get you?"
Ignis smiled and whispered to the waiter, "Of course!" The waiter replied, then she left.
Kali narrowed her eyes at ignis. "What did you just do?"
A couple approached Amara and Ignis, "You guys are awesome! Do you mind if you could…you know?" Ignis smiled as he turned to Kali, "We used to perform, using our elements." Amara turned to Kali, "Plus he ordered for you, and added something to our usual."
"So you guys showboat around in places like this? do i have to do it too or do you guys got this?" she was really hoping she didnt have to perform, she wouldnt put effort into it so no one would enjoy it anyway.
"People in this city have never had an elemental before, especially with kinds like us." Ignis gets up, holding his arms out. Balls of small fire float around him, each flame forming the shape of an animal. They danced around Ignis, and some hopped onto the table, dancing as a couple appeared in the middle. Amara sings her wrist, forming little lights around the flames. the two had created a small festival on the table as the music from the restaurant played an upbeat melody. Amara looks at Kali, "Sometimes we perform together, other times we perform separately." She whispers to Kali, "This is who Ignis is. This is his heart filled with the good fire."
"yeah, i can see that." she sighed staring at ignis, whispering back.
Ignis played around with the flames, giving an animal to kids, their palms unaffected. The parents were scared at first, but soon acted like a child as well, each asking for an animal. Each animal reflected the joy from the kids who held them. When the music stopped, the flames vanished and the room was filled with a disappointing 'aww'. Ignis sank into the chair, extremely exhausted, "T-That's how we make a good…good audience!"
"You really are something ini." she looked at how exhausted he got speeding a bunch of energy on entertaining the whole crowd, which she didn't really understand.
Ignis collected his strength, "Sometimes the best you can do is prevent the helpless from knowing what evils are out there. If their lives are brightened with love and excitement, they are more useless to the Shadows. They would leave them alone…" Ignis fell in a moment of sadness until the food arrived, his expression then returned, "Lovely!"
Amara received a plate of roasted chicken with mashed potatoes and mixed vegetables. Ignis grabbed a plate of a toasted bun burger with steak fries and corn. Both received a glass of coke. Kali was served what she had ordered, six pieces of fried chicken, evenly cooked and salted fries, and a glass of orange cream soda with whipped cream on top. The dishes were served large, and Amara smiles at Kali, "You don't have to eat it all, we don't. Whatever's left we'll bring for later."
"Okay." She was still not used to the super happy ignis, not used to him just shouting out stuff like lovely. she ate 5 pieces of fried chicken and all of her fries, drinking all of her cream soda.
Ignis and Amara finished their plate. They hadn't eaten since the mess started. Ignis got up, "If you excuse me, I'm going to change out of this crap. This is….too….dark."
As Ignis leaves, Amara smiles at Kali, "What do you say we have a look at the desserts?"
"Yes." kali's eyes sparkled at the mention of desert.
Amara and Kali left forbthe dessert section and Ignis returned. He wore a blue tshirt and jeans. With a leather armbrace on his left arm holding his fire stone. With a fire talisman around his neck. He caught up with the two with two boxes in hand.
"What are the boxes? did ya kill someone? well there's no blood leaking so I doubt it…unless you clean up really well." Kali was honestly in a really morbid mood right now and after righting a fight scene from a different rp i may be as well.
(Marlin's still just sitting in the car.)
(you can have him join them if you want,)
(I'm just gonna have him go to sleep if that's okay. he hasn't done that in a few days.)
Ignis laughs, trying not to drop them, "It's food. You know, for the other two occupying my car." Ignis got excited when Amara ordered her two milshakes, "Strawberry Blast with fresh strawberries?" Amara smiled, "Yes, and everything in between."
They started to make their way out, "We will be waiting for you in the car,"
"Okay, don't do anything too coupley and weird the others out before I get back." She joked waving them off and looking at the flavors of milkshake and the add-ons.
Ignis placed the warm box securely in the trunk. Ignis returned with a smile on his face, Amara also smiling, "Hey, I appreciate what you're doing,"
Ignis takes the second milkshake and starts drinking, "I don't know what you're talking about."
Amara kisses Ignis on the cheek, "For such a good liar, you're awfully terrible with me."
Kali ended up with a chocolate base shake, strawberry's, all types of chocolate, marshmallow fluff and some cinnamon. Nom nom. She started walking back to the car after paying for it.
Amara and Ignis were found standing next to the car laughing and kindly bumping into each other, drinking their milkshakes. Ignis noticed Kali and whispered to Amara. They then "acted normal" pose in different directions while drinking their milkshakes and got quiet. When Kali came close enough, Amara was the first one to break. They both started laughing.
She had already noticed hem doing couply stuff on the way there and then they spli up and as soon as she got close amara started laughing, and then ignis started laughing, she thought it was some weird couple stuff so she just walked past them and go in the chair and a small part of her asked were they laughing at me? she immediately dismissed the thought drinking her milkshake. "Man i need a new phone."
"What was that?" Ignis joyfully asked as they got in the car
"just that i need a new phone, I smashed up my old one and threw it out the window when my step dad wouldn't stop texting. I miss the music I had on it tho." She sipped her milkshake glancing out the window. a figure showed up in the rear view mirror when they drove away.
Ignis secretly drove to a popular phone store as Amara and Ignis were laughing and saying jokes. Ignis maneuvered around the building to prevent Kali from knowing until they drove up. Amara and Ignis had already finished their milkshakes. Ignis leaned back in the seat while Amara got out, motioning Kali to follow.
