Amara placed her hand on Kali's shoulder with a firm grip, "Kali, my dear, as proud as I am. Would you please warn me next time? I didn't know of that, though. You seem to be using you abilities beyond you ancestors capabilities!"

Okay that felt weird, it was like she was getting a lecture from her mom. She would like Amara as a mom but then that would mean ini for a dad….ew.
"Okay mom." She shrugged at her comment."I guess I'm just lucky, I just thought about healing you and thought if I inputed darkness into a type of energy and push it into your cells they could use it as some sort of energy drink and repair your body in a matter of seconds." She looked at sky.
Amara lets go of Kali and playfully hits her arm, "Mother? Ew." She laughed as she could feel her strength returning, "I guess we all have our talents along with our weaknesses. When we met, I knew your limits…or at least I thought. You surprise me, keep at it!"
"oh and what did you think my limits were?" She was again genuinely curious. "Ini said something similar when we first met and it seemed like he had no idea how to talk to girls. How did he land someone like you? How did he even manage to talk to you?" She laughed a little bit at the thought of it is trying to woo amara
Amara smiled, "Ignis didn't mean anything by it. He didn't know you, I guess. My Igi found me being…he just found me. He saw me for the person I was, not for my powers. He saved me and protected me, sometimes from himself. He's ignorant, stubborn, and reckless, but kind, sweet and very quirky around new people. He gave me the faith to keep my powers. To use them towards what Life and the Elders created. He would give everything to protect a single soul, and go through hell saving countless more. My Igi didn't "land" someone like me. I got him. You know his reaction towards Yin and Yang was very similar yours."
"figures," Kali seems like a fourth wall breaker so ya know why not. "It seems like this would be a cheesy seen in a chick flick or a romance or a maybe growing up story. It also seems like we should be eating something and not almost dying from a car crash. Or maybe the creators just hungry." She shrugs. "are you saying we're similar? Hah that's funny…besides yin and yang deserves all the love and attention in the world so it's only right that he reacted the same way." She huffed crossing her arms and looking away. She ended up looking at Daniel.
Amara giggles as she starts to get up, "Can you drive?"
"I mean I have a license." She shrugged pulling it out and showing Amara while covering the photo. "See?" She put it away before Amara would become curious of her covering the photo. "Is the car ready to drive? Also maybe I should heal your other wounds? Wouldn't that be better instead of just letting them sit there?"
"I have the strength to heal myself," Amara gets up, "The car is efficient enough to drive to the nearest shop. We drove quite a while since we got here. Whatever hit us must not be dumb enough to follow. It was a warning I presume."
Ignis and Arcanis stared at each other. Arcanis smiled as he starts moving, "I presume you are here because I possess your flame?" Ignis began to grow paranoid, "You have control over what you take, why not take my Hell fire instead?" Arcanis laugh hysterically, "Hellfire is beautiful!"
"okay good." She nodded along with what Amara was saying. "well it would be stupid to come around with me awake and about. It would loose." She half picked up Daniel and tried to drag him to the car but unfortunately she isn't very phsyically strong so she just kinda focused for a little bit and used the surronding dark matter to make it a little lighter load on her and put him in the car. Marlin she just dragged, then threw him into the back seat. "I think that's everyone. Is it okay to go now?" She hadn't realized it earlier, but she could feel herself getting more energy from the ever present darkness surronding them.
(Sorry guys, I have stuff to do so I'm going to be responding even less, I'll tell you if something changes and I have to stop replying entirely.)
Amara showed a face of disappointment she slaps Kali on the arm lightly, "I know you like Daniel, how he must make you feel in these times. You can't offer special treatment! Marlin has been through enough crap to begin with. He is like a scared child to all of this, just trying to fit in."
Marlin moved a little at the sound of his name, he groaned trying to lift his head.
(just so you know, Marlin could be in a coma and he'd wake up if he heard someone talking about him.)
Amara turned her attention to Marlin, attempting to heal him further. This time, the injuries weren't as severe, so Amara didn't have to resort to much magic, "Calm yourself, allow me to ease the suffering,"
"No, I'm fine." he said waving her away, "What happened?"
Amara looked out towards the street, "Shadows are becoming more frequent. They must know what we are after. The Shadow that hit us must be a creature of great strength and size."
"Great. Just what we need. Is it still following us?"
Amara's eyes flashed white for a second. She scanned the road before her, but the dark interfered, "I don't know, but so far no, there isn't anything watching or following us."
"Well that's good…" he trailed of not sure what to say. "Shadows don't eat people do they? I mean I'm not super worried about it, just curious."
Amara grew a very serious look, "Some do. Some rip you apart for fun. Some just like the screams of a man as they are ripped apart slowly. Others will just kill you on the spot."
"So glad I asked." mumbled Marlin under his breath. "How are we supposed to defeat these things?"
Amara smiled joyfully, "Depends on the beast! Elemental Shadows are the hardest! Since they were born thousands of years ago, their physiology is quite different. Longer lives and semi immortal."
Marlin laughed nervously, "You sound awfully happy about that."
Amara smiles more, "Just at the fact that not everything is unstoppable. The elemental Shadows scare the hell out of me! It's just good to realize we have a fighting chance towards most Shadows"
"welcome to the land of the living Marlin." She was sitting in the front seat of the car looking back. "man I wish I had nine lives like a cat, then I could get the flesh ripped off my skin and then revive and live a normal ish life " She just said a random thought outloud for no particular reason. "with the sky being completely dark out I'm a lot more powerful, since ya know my elements darkness."
Marlin stared at her with a slightly concerned, but also slightly creeped out look on his face. He rubbed his arms almost like he was trying to assure himself he was still alive.
(Lol Marlin- Kali is gonna be acting pretty weird seeing as she's filled with energy unlike how she normally is always tired. She might be a bit more energetic-)
"Oh don't look so scared, your alive. Not dead." She flicked his forehead.
"Kali!" Amara quickly jumped and showed disgust in her face, "Eww. I do sound like a mom!"
"I told you! It's like your my mom!" She jumped up pointing at Amara. "I don't want ini as a dad!"
