Melissa nodded some, softly kissing him. "Please never go back… I don't want you to leave again."
Melissa nodded some, softly kissing him. "Please never go back… I don't want you to leave again."
"Believe me, I didn't want to be there in the first place… I'm not going to be trying to go back anytime soon."
"Good, I really don't want you to go back." Melissa whispered, burying her face in his shoulder. "You're already doing better, I really don't think you'll have to go back."
"Hopefully…" Lucas rested his head on Melissa's and sighed. "Wasn't exactly the biggest fan of that place…"
"I bet…" Melissa mumbled some, holding on tightly still. "Mmm… you smell really nice…"
Lucas flushed a bit at that. "Uhm… thanks? I haven't done anything special…"
Melissa shrugged, looking up at him. "I guess not… but you smell like you. It's comforting, I guess…" She shrugged, sighing softly.
"If you say so." Lucas shrugged and looked away, his face still pretty red.
Melissa smiled softly, leaning back against him still, taking the book and setting it in her lap to look through it. "You okay?"
"Y-Yeah… fine." Lucas wrapped himself around Melissa a bit more and buried his red face in her shoulder.
"Alright, if you say so…" Melissa whispered, reaching over to run her fingers through his hair. She slowly continued to look through the photo-album with a soft look.
Lucas melted into her touch and smiled gently, keeping his eyes closed. "Mm… I love you~"
"I love you too, darling." Melissa hummed softly, scanning over the photos still. "You were so cute…"
"Mm… I guess so. I'm not as cute anymore." Lucas laughed softly.
"You're not baby cute anymore, you're still cute." Melissa insisted, sitting back with a hum.
Lucas flushed again and stuck his tongue out a bit. "Am not." He whined.
"I think you are." Melissa hummed softly, tracing the details of the picture with her nail. "But if you don't like being called cute, I can call you something else."
"Mm…" Lucas hugged Melissa more tightly and sighed. "I dunno what else you'd call me, though…"
"Attractive, charming, handsome, hot." Melissa stated rather quickly, looking up at him. "I can probably keep going, but I don't think you can handle it."
Lucas was flushed red by the time Melissa had finished just those four words, clearly unable to handle that much either. "I-I… uhm…"
Melissa smiled softly, sitting up enough to peck his lips. "Alright, I'm done." She whispered, going back to the photos.
Lucas pouted a bit as he clung to Melissa. "So mean to me…" He whined.
"That I am, but I think I know my limits." Melissa hummed, starting to run her fingers through his hair again. "If I pushed it, I'll try my best not to do it again."
"Mmm…" Lucas leaned into Melissa's hand and sighed, his blush slowly beginning to die down.
"You alright?" Melissa asked softly, letting the book sit in her lap so she could focus on him.
"Yeah, I'm fine… just a little flustered. Don't worry about it, Mel."
Melissa nodded a little, kissing the top of his head. "Alright, if you say so…"
"Mhmm…" Lucas huddled a little closer and hummed softly to himself. "Love you…"
“I love you, too.” Melissa whispered in return. She kept mostly quiet as she slowly returned back to the photos.
Lucas looked down at the photos as well, quietly watching Melissa flip through the pages.
