Uriah ran up the front steps and thrust the doors open dramatically. He ran down the hall and skidded to a halt in front of his locker.
Ireland pulled off her hood and opened up her locker, dropping some things inside before heading off to meet with her friends.
Uriah stuffed a folder into his locker and slammed it shut, then raced down the hall.
//so they’re all friends, right?
//yes
Ireland blinked as Uriah ran past her. “Uriah! Where are you going in such a rush?” She shouted, running to catch up with him.l
He skidded to a halt. "I was just bolting to catch up with you, loser!"
Wyatt was walking down the hallway when he heard Uriah’s distinct voice. Rounding a corner, he saw him and Ireland talking. “Hey! How’re you guys?”
Uriah turned. "Don't make me think about my life, Wyatt."
“I’m not,” Wyatt grinned. “Just your history homework. Do you have it this time?”
"Oh! That…." Uriah smiled nervously. "What day is it due?"
“Today. First period. Here’s a pencil,” Wyatt laughed. “Don’t do questions four and six.”
