Nix nodded a bit. "Y-Yeah, I'm sure you will… Cas and Zachary are pretty mad at him too, so…"

"Mhm… Good." He hugged Nix a moment.

"Mhmm…" Nix nuzzled against Derlik, purring softly. "Hopefully it'll be okay and temporary…"

"Hopefully, yeah." Derlik offered an assuring smile.

"And then we can come back here to miss Serna's house or your house or really anywhere other than his house…"

"Mhm, yeah. It might be nice for you to come stay with me." He smiled just a bit.

Nix nodded a bit. "Anywhere away from Halm, honestly… I just… I don't feel comfortable being around him.

"Of course. You shouldn't be…" Derlik gently kissed Nix's head again.

(Honestly any relationship Nix is gonna end up in will be at least slightly unhealthy, Zach is petty much my only good partner after what happened with Halm and he's taken so–)

Nix nodded a bit. "Cas beat him up too, but… he couldn't do as much damage. Cas is pretty short, after all."
