Melissa shook her head, curling up closer. “Mm, no. I just thought I’d ask.” She hummed with a shrug. “We could watch a Christmas movie or something similar.”
Melissa shook her head, curling up closer. “Mm, no. I just thought I’d ask.” She hummed with a shrug. “We could watch a Christmas movie or something similar.”
"Sure, Mel. What's your favorite Christmas movie?" He asked. "And we can watch whatever it is."
“I don’t really know. Maybe Elf? Honestly I don’t have an exact favorite. What about you?” Melissa asked lightly, resting her chin on his shoulder.
"I don't watch a ton of movies, but Elf sounds fine to me." Lucas shrugged, kissing Melissa's cheek softly.
“We really don’t have to watch a movie, if you’d rather do something else.” Melissa hummed, kissing him in return.
"I'm happy to watch a movie with you, Mel. I didn't really get to watch any back at the hospital. We can make popcorn and we'll have a great time."
Melissa nodded some, playing with her hair as he spoke. "I just don't want to bore you. If you want to do something, we can go do it."
"You're not gonna bore me. I wanna do it. Now, you grab the movie and I'll go make us some popcorn." Lucas got to his feet and headed to the kitchen.
Melissa watched him walk off, getting up as well when directed. With the movie set up, she gathered their coats, and gloves off the floor, carrying them upstairs to throw in the washing machine.
(I totally don't want to rush you, but I'm not sure if it went through or not :P)
(Sorry! The notification wasn't showing up for some reason qwq)
Lucas returned as soon as the popcorn was done and huddled up in front of the fireplace again. "There we go. Ready to start, Mel?"
(It's all good. Honestly, I just wanted to make sure it went through eheh.)
Melissa came down the stairs at the sound of his voice, changed into a pair of soft pajama pants and one of his hoodies. "Mm, yup! If you are." She chirped, coming and sitting down next to him on the floor.
Lucas flushed at the sight of Melissa in his clothes, but tried not to let it affect him too much. "Y-Yep. I'll just… uh… I'll do that." He started the movie and huddled up with Melissa.
Melissa gave him a soft smile, noting his red face. "Are you… oh." She had started her question, pretty quickly figuring out the answer. "I- um, I can give it back, if you want. I just… like I said, it was weird not having you here…"
"No! N-No, I… you can keep it on, I don't mind." Lucas replied, clearly flustered. "You look… you look good, Mel."
Melissa nodded some, biting into her lower lip as she curled up even closer to him. "Thanks… you have good taste in clothes. It's nice, and warm." She hummed, arms wrapped loosely around his waist.
Lucas buried his red face in Melissa's shoulder and nodded weakly. "Glad you think so, Mel… I… I-I've got a lot of hoodies."
Melissa kept up the soft smile, resting her head up against him. "Mm, don't tell me that, I might go steal more." She joked a little as she curled up.
"Well, don't take all of them. I get cold too, you know." Lucas held tightly to Melissa, keeping his face hidden.
"I won't, I promise. Maybe just one or two." Melissa hummed, keeping up a little smile. "I don't want to steal all of your clothes."
"Yeah, that wouldn't be great. I don't think I'd look as good in your clothes as you do in mine." Lucas laughed softly.
"Oh hush, I'm sure you'd look fabulous… if you could fit in them." Melissa laughed as well, looking up at the television. "I'm considerably smaller than you… and, you know, female."
"Mm. Well, I'm pretty slim, so I might be able to get something on as long as it's not skin tight. Your clothes aren't really my style, though. No offense, of course."
"I'm so offended. I can't believe you would say something like that." Melissa responded in a pretty mono-tone voice before smiling again. "You don't have to like my clothes, as long as you can still like me."
"Of course, Mel. I think your clothes look lovely on you, but I don't think I'd quite be able to pull it off."
"Mmm, you're probably right." Melissa hummed, kissing his cheek. "Guess you'll have to stick to your own."
"Assuming you don't steal all of mine, that is." Lucas laughed, happily returning the kiss.
Melissa looked up at him, smiling softly. "We'll see what happens. I won't make any promises."
"Alright, alright…" Lucas kissed Melissa again. "Did you ever talk to my bosses, by the way?"
"Mmm, I did." Melissa mumbled, curling up even closer to him. "They both seemed to understand. I dunno if you'll get both jobs back, or not."
