“Hey Bennet you sure you’re okay?” He called after him. “You’re acting kinda weird….” he grumbled the last part. He stared after Bennet, an eyebrow raised.
“Hey Bennet you sure you’re okay?” He called after him. “You’re acting kinda weird….” he grumbled the last part. He stared after Bennet, an eyebrow raised.
"I'm fine!!!!!!!!" He called back, "Just fine!" He sort of was, he was just bored mainly. He poked his head out of the door to look at him, "Why?"
“Dunno you’re just acting weird.” He said again, shrugging before going back to working on his sketch again.
"UHm, okay? The movie bored me so I left." He said with a confused look on his face, "I don't think that's weird."
He sighed “never mind, forget I said anything.” He said, going back to his sketching in hopes of ending the somewhat awkward conversation.
Bennet smiled a little, noting how he easily made things extremely awkward so easily. That probably wasn't something to be proud of, but at that moment he could of cared less. Carefully closing the door and locking it, Bennet turned on his TV, and just surfed until he found a show that interested him. The his phone buzzed with a text from one of his friends, they were wanting to see what Bennet was up too. Which wasn't too much honestly. Bennet got a demon roommate, admitted his mission, and probably would be kicked out of Heaven if anything was found out.
((Yeah not much going on XD))
Connor stayed on the couch, not really feeling tired enough to go to sleep. He would continue to draw, eventually he began to draw Bennet, he didn’t know why, but it made him happy.
((I know, Bennet's just an idiot, but uhm, what to do know, because Bennet had to be an idiot and weird Connor out))
((Oof idk man they’re both big idiots. We could maybe have something gæ happen since Bennet’s a tipsy boi))
((OOH, yaaaaaasss, we need them to finally hit it off with eachother))
((Yes we do lol. We could always have them do a drinking game or something along those lines so they’re both tipsy boiz))
((Yaas, that could work!))
((Okay great!! I have no idea how to get them to make that decision tho lmao))
((Same, maybe Bennet comes out for a drink?))
((Sounds good. Is it okay if you start?))
((yep, that works))
After an hour of Bennet hiding out in his room, he finished his popcorn and wanted something to drink. He sort regretted not bringing a bottle of water or something with him, but he knew that there were some in the fridge. He unlocked the door quietly and popped his head out of the door. Connor was still outside, but he didn;t think that he'd bother him. He crept into the kitchen and searched for the water, but during his search came across a bottle ofwine, That could work too…. He grabbed a fluke and poured himself a drink, then started to go back to hi room.
“Hey.” He called out, seeing Bennet leave the kitchen. “Whatcha doing?” He asked. He didn’t really care that much he was just bored.
"Getting a drink." He said as he turned to face Connor, "Want anything, I'm up, so it won't bother me." He said with an amiable smile, as if he truly meant what he was saying.
“Yeah that’d be great actually.” He sat up a little bit more, a few joints cracking with the sudden movement.
"Okay, uhm, a drink, a snack, uhm, I can do both?" He figured that Connor would probably like something to drink though, and he remembered that the guy liked whiskey. He grabbed the bottle and a glass and brought it over. He didn't really see anything that he would mix it with, so he just brought the bottle. "Anything else?"
“No this is fine.” He said. He was bored so he figured he might as well get drunk. He didn’t have anything better to do after all. He let out a long sigh before pretty much chugging the whole drink.
Bennet nearly gasped as he watched Connor just down the whole glass like it was a normal thing, "C-Conner, you don't have to listen to me at all, but I don't think that doing that's going to be a good idea, you could get sick." But, he still poured himself more wine and sipped it as he studied the other man. He had hidden his wings, since it was getting pretty hard to move from room to room with them.
He shrugged. “I’ll be fine, done it plenty of times before. Plus I’m bored so anything will be an improvement, even if that something is getting sick.” He poured himself another glass, but thankfully, he didn’t chug this one.
Bennet sighed still sipping on his glass, "But the repercussions are what worry me, I wouldn't want to see you get too sick, even if it makes you feel good for a short period of time. There's other stuff to do that won't get you as sick."
“Yeah like what?” Connor asked with a raised eyebrow, practically challenging Bennet to come up with a better alternative. He would be a little surprised if Bennet actually managed to think of something.
"Uhm, eating? No, that gets you sick. Napping, no, not if you have insomnia, and if you do get to sleep you get a headache. I. . .I . ..I got nothing, you do what you like then, and hey, I'll join you, why should you have to drink alone?" He said with a shrug.
He chuckled at Bennet’s slight rambling. “Well fair enough.” He held up his glass, clinking it against Bennet’s glass. “Cheers.” He smiled over at Bennet before sipping some of his drink.
Bennet sighed and mumbled a quiete cheers back. He took a few sips of his drink, then placed it down on the table. But, after a few seconds, he took few more sips of his drink, trying to come up with something to say, or do. But in an eerie way, the silence was nice.
Connor didn’t attempt to break the silence. He just kept taking sips of his drink, refilling when necessary. At this point, he’d just poured himself his fourth glass, showing no sign of stopping any time soon.
