"At least two or three," Serna said. "They'll need a day or two to get here, but I can think of a few who'd like to meet you."

Nix nodded and huddled closer to Serna. "Sounds good to me… and you're sure they won't try to do anything bad to me?"

"I'm sure," Serna assured. "They won't try anything, not while I'm here." She sighed softly.

"Alright, if you're sure…" Nix sighed as well, fidgeting nervously. "I don't wanna do that again…"

"I'm sure," Serna said. "I'm going to make sure you don't you don't have to go through that again."

"Thank you, miss Serna…" Nix fidgeted a bit more as he glanced around. "I hope they're nice… are they?"

"I'll only invite the nice ones. And they really are, I promise." Serna smiled gently.

"Mmkay…" Nix sighed. "And when did you say that we'd be inviting them?"

"I will be asking them over tomorrow morning, but it might take some time for them to get here." Serna let out a breath.

Nix nodded a bit and buried his face in Serna's shoulder. "Mm… okay. Will you help me pick out something nice to wear?"

"Sure! You'll look great." Serna smiled again gently, putting her hand on his head.

"Thanks! What do you think I should wear?" Nix asked curiously.

"Well, will you want to wear a dress or a shirt and pants?" Serna wanted to know too see what would fit best.

"Mm… I dunno. I've never worn any dress other than the one that Halm gave me." Nix sighed softly. "I'm willing to try anything."

"Okay then! I'll pick out an outfit of each, then, and you can decide which one you like more." Serna smiled weakly.

"Mmkay…" Nix fidgeted a bit. "Where do you get them from? Do you have a fancy magic closet like Halm?"

"I do," Serna admitted, "but mine is in my room. Would you like to find something today, or go to bed soon and do it tomorrow?"

"Uhm… either is fine with me. They don't be here for two days or something anyway, right? But it might be good to be prepared so I don't stress out about it…"

Serna nodded a bit.
"We can pick them out then, but I think we'll decide on one sheriff's to wear tomorrow. Does that sound good?"

(What was sheriff's supposed to be lol)
"Sounds good to me, miss Serna. So… we should go now?" He slid out of Serna's lap onto the floor.

(Nothing!! That's just it, I don't know why that's fucking in there!!)

Serna nodded, standing up.
"Okay then!" She smiled slightly, offering her hand to Nix.

Nix accepted her hand and followed her into her bedroom. "What do you think I'd look good in?" He asked meekly.

"Well, what colors do you like?" Serna asked. She opened the door of the wardrobe, looking through it.

"Uhm… I dunno. I haven't experimented much… which ones would look best on me?" He asked curiously.

"Well," Serna said, pausing a moment to look Nix up and down. "I think a deep green would suit you."

Nix nodded a bit and held a little tighter to Serna's hand. "Do you think I'd look good in blue too?" He asked.

"I do, yes. Do you like that color?" Serna knelt down a bit, offering a soft smile and placing her other hand on Nix's head.

Nix nodded again, turning his ears to the side when Serna touched his head. "I think so… it matches my eyes. See?" He pointed to his eyes.

"Yes, I do! You have very pretty eyes." Serna smiled again, turning to the wardrobe.
"I think I have just the dress, and I'll find a shirt like that."

"Thank you, miss Serna…" Nix flushed a bit at the compliment and stood aside so that he wouldn't be in Serna's way.
