Clarissa was a little unprepared for 055 to start talking immediately but fortunately, the intercom system also recorded everything as she quickly took down notes. It was… an interesting description. Somewhat vague but more detailed than she expected. Honestly, she wasn't sure what she had been expecting… An underground cavern? Fire and brimstone? Another dimension or even another lab? This was a little puzzling to be honest. Bright flashing lights, puddles, and dripping water? Normally, those things didn't really go together in a safe environment. And then to have a building created around, what was probably his old home.
”I see…” she said. I’ll have to look over the files again. See if there's anything in it about this… she thought doubtful.

@Mojack group

Anything in his files would simply say he was found in North-Eastern Russia. It seems that anything in-depth would probably be from Bosa himself..or maybe there was something more, just hidden away?
“Yep!” His tone went back to the more excited one again. “What are we doing now? Any more questions?”

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

She looked back up at Bosa, a little bewildered by the rapid change of demeanor. To be completely honest, Clarissa still had many questions in response to the information given to her. ”No. I think that's all for today.” she answered before raising a brow slightly. ”Unless you have any questions for me?” she offered. It seemed rude to deny knowledge she had that might interest 055.

@Mojack group

“Hmm,” Bosa hums, looking up at the ceiling. “Yes, actually. Do you know when is the next time I will be allowed out of here?” He pauses, then quickly clarifies himself. “Not out of the facility, I mean. It just gets rather boring, having to view the same details for so, so long.“

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Clarissa bit her lip at the question. It made logical sense that 055 would ask for some degree of freedom but… ”You mean, just out of your room?” she clarified. ”At the moment, I’m not sure but I can check and let you know when we talk tomorrow.” she comprised, though she thought that there was a… ”medical” appointment coming up soon.

@Mojack group

“Yes, that sounds fair!” He nodded, moving back to his couch in the room, and sitting on it. “You are..leaving, now?” Bosa questioned, unsure.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Clarissa looked at the clock and frowned a little. ”I mean… My shift is almost over but… If you want me to stay a little longer and talk, I suppose I could.” she offered. Technically, she had permission to stay as long as she needed to as a handler… She was practically on call if anything happened to 055.

@Mojack group

“If you want.” He answered, tilting his head. Bosa was unsure of what else there would be left to speak about right now, but that didn’t mean he would deny more socialization.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

”Well… I wouldn't mind staying if you have any more questions you want to ask.” she admitted. ”Otherwise, I should probably leave for the night. But as I said, I’ll be back tomorrow.” Clarissa nodded, more to herself really.

@Mojack group

“Ok.” He paused for a few seconds, staring at the ceiling, at the lights. Before shaking his head. “No, I don’t have any more questions,” came Bosa’s neutral tone answer.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

”Alright, then. I’ll see you tomorrow and we can talk more.” Clarissa said, standing up. ”Maybe I can see about getting you a chance to get some exercise or bring a book for you.” she offered as she realized how boring it was to just sit around in a room like cell all day, the way 055 had been for quite a while.

@Mojack group

“Okay.” As soon as she stood up was when Bosa began to revert back to his natural form. Just as he’d previously taken to. Colour left him and returned to the black colour of, well..black sand. He decided to stay stationary for the time being.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Clarissa watched, fascinated again, as Bosa reverted form. She wrote one last note and turned off the microphone before leaving the room. After she dropped off her paperwork for the day, she picked up the file on 055 and was a little disappointed by the information in it. Most of the file contained facts and theories she already knew but absolutely nothing very helpful about where 055 came from except to say ”Northern Russia”… She let out a sigh as she resigned herself to the fact that she would have to conduct this investigation in a different way.

@Mojack group

In Bosa’s ‘natural form’, he remained idle for some time. In thought, though. It didn’t really make sense for a creature such as home to have thoughts to begin with, yet here he was. Previous intelligence tests had given the facility results that Bosa had the ability to reason and solve problems, much to a human like sense of things. Maybe even rivaling it. And there were other tests preformed on him as well. All the results could be found in some of his files.

The reflex test, for example, put up stunning results. Reaction times that could rival humans. Even some forms of precognition were noted upon, but never pried into.
Bosa didn’t know much about the human he’d met, but he hoped to get to know her better. And maybe step out of this cell. He would not complain outwards, of course - but those that passed by his cell and bothered to take a look routinely would notice how low he was getting in terms of activity. To begin with, Bosa was not an active subject, but he was gradually decreasing. Eventually, it may decrease enough to where he’d only move if they were to talk or interact with him.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

As 055’s handler, Clarissa had access to most all of those files… If there were any files that she couldn’t read, she didn't know about them and would be surprised to learn about them.
Before she left the building, she put in a request to grant 055 more chances for activity. Supervised walks around the facility, occasional visits to the gym… maybe even eventually actually getting outside the facility at some point once she gained enough trust to not run off or something like that.

@Mojack group

Eventually, Bosa departed from his place on the furniture and left for the ceiling instead. It would take a second glance to see his form, pressed against the corners of the ceiling. It didn’t seem like a comfortable spot, yet there he was.

Eventually, the lights within his cell gradually dimmed, but not yet at their darkest point. Bosa stayed motionless, only stiffening - if that were possible - upon the entry of someone into the room. This was a human, but a different one from before. One he’d never seen before. She looked to wear clothing of staff - a janitor, he decided upon seeing her supplies, a broom, bucket, and mop. From time to time, people came into Bosa’s cell, often to clean. They trusted him enough to not do anything rash. But this was off.
Usually, they were in groups, and wearing more protective clothing. And there was something different about this woman, the way her eyes searched the room for a moment as if looking for something. Bosa didn’t move from his spot, and the dimmed lights helped to shield his form.

He did nothing as the ‘janitor’ began to whistle, sweeping around the room.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

She knew it would take some time for her request to be processed and either approved or denied, but she was… fairly optimistic considering how she phrased it. If questioned about it, she had a couple of good points to bring up.
About halfway to the door, Clarissa groaned as she realized she left her keys in her locker. She turned back and ran to the locker room, which was not too far away from 055’s room.

@Mojack group

The woman stopped by his corner, and much to his surprise, spotted him.
Oh. There you are.” The woman says, smiling lightly.

Though he was capable of speech, Bosa held silent. Even for him, something seemed incredibly off.
“Name’s Koycheva. What’s yours?”
“…Koycheva…” Bosa speaks, but in this form, his voice differs. Almost this neutral, yet metallic voice that echoes throughout the room. But not loud, either. Quiet. “You aren’t supposed to be here.” He states, despite having no clue of who this woman was.
“And you’re not supposed to be here, either.” Again, she smiles, but it’s under a different tone. Hinting at something. She reaches an arm out to the ceiling. “Come on.” Her hands do not reach him from her point.

Bosa stays still, not even moving an inch. Usually, even while ‘idle’, the sand was moving. Even by the slightest bit. But he was completely still.

A frown flashes on her face for a moment or two before she pockets her hand, then returns with a small slab of..something. It’s a metal material, smooth texture and edges. Relatively featureless. “Come on, doesn’t this tempt you?” And it does. Bosa can’t ignore the electricity that it seems only he can see radiating from it. The sand stretches forwards, forming itself into a..hand. Albeit a sharper one made of the sand.
Koycheva can’t keep the brief flash of disbelief off of her face. She’s been sent to retrieve this..thing?

His movements are slow, at first. He pauses.
“Come on, you want it? Don’t you?” Bosa seems to have stopped mid-reach. “This part is a lot harder than I thought…”
As she looks back up, she’s not prepared for Bosa to suddenly lunge forwards. Immediately upon contact the hand vanishes, turning to several tendrils wrapping itself around her arm. As he pulls himself from the wall, Koycheva freaks out, stumbling backwards. “W-Wait? What?!”

Outside tempts me far more.
“What do you-“ And then, Koycheva goes limp, falling to the ground. She’s not dead, though. She’s still breathing, still with a pulse. Her body remains..her mind is elsewhere. A different mind replaces hers. Bosa does.
Fingers twitching, eyes snapping open, Bosa takes control of his new form. He’s only once used this odd ability before, and that was total failure - not that he remembers how the host rejected him, though.
And he’s not really doing this out of malicious intent, either. Just curious. Besides, this woman shouldn’t be here to begin with. She got a bit more than what she came for.
‘She’ sits up, expression blank, blinking a few times as he observes the situation. They - humans - use a card to travel in and out of the room.

And it’s a good thing the woman had one with her. Bosa gets up, not expecting himself to trip forwards. He hobbles awkwardly in the body, his depth perception odd, his legs almost threatening to give out. But he - after some fumbling, grabs the card from the pockets, and stumbles over to the door. Sliding the card - it takes a few tries, a few beeps - he unlocks the door, and slips out of the room, making his way into the hallway.

This is not my body. And the lights. They’re so…bright. Why do humans need lights to be so bright?
Luckily, there’s not many people out in this sector, so they don’t really have to see the hobbling ‘woman’ make her way through the hallway. Unsure of his destination, Bosa goes in a random direction. His eyes and senses have yet to fully adjust.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Clarissa slammed her locker, more out of frustration of having to come back, and rubbed her forehead as she walked back into the hallway. Of all things, she had to have left her keys behind… She tried to write it off as tiredness or the excitement of becoming a handler but it wasn't helping her feel much better.
She looked up to avoid an awkward encounter and noticed someone else staggering, almost drunkenly in her opinion, not too far away from her. She raised a brow and found herself following after the person. Normally, she wasn't one to bother other people but something about this didn't feel right to her.

@Mojack group

Get a look around this place. Find my way around.

Bosa wasn’t in the mood to leave. He didn’t want to find an exit, just get to know the place. A breath of fresh air, out of his cell. New, exciting environments..

It was when he was walking for a fair amount of time did Bosa pause, realizing he was being trailed. He halted almost immediately - awkwardly, due to his stance. His arms hung almost limply at his sides. Almost hunched over.
Combined with a vacant expression on his face and you might even label him possessed. But moments later, his mouth twitched, testing out different expressions. Deciding it would be best to approach the encounter instead of run from it, Bosa straightened his posture, and spun around, with a smile akin to the one Koycheva presented to him minutes ago.

“Hi!” His voice mimicked the one of the host - a woman - and he almost stiffened. It was weird, hearing that voice come out of him.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

The dark-haired scientist froze for a moment when the woman addressed her. Stealth may not have been Clarissa’s strong suit but she hadn't expected to be caught. ”Hi?” she replied hesitantly as she reevaluated the other woman. It looked more like the stranger was on something instead of just being drunk. Plus that smile was just plain creepy. ”I’m sorry, but I don't think I've seen you around before. Are you alright?” she asked as she approached her with the same cautiousness that one would approach a wild animal. Obviously, there was really no way for Clarissa to know everyone who worked here but… she didn't think that the higher-ups would hire someone who acted like this.

@Mojack group

This person…the voice was familiar to him. Was it Clarissa? It was different, hearing her voice not affected by the speaker of the room.
“N..yes, I’m fine! Perfectly fine!” In a tone almost too happy, he answered. That, or nervous. “And it makes sense that you would not have met me before…I am…a janitor!” Even though he’d not taken the cleaning supplies with him. And even then, this host was probably not a janitor to begin with. It was something else…

His eyes scan the hallway, just studying.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

She gave a small hum as she stopped a little more than an arm's length away from the strange woman. If she really was a janitor, then it really would make sense for Clarissa not to know her. She usually left before the cleaning crew started their night shift… but still…. her too quick answer didn't sit right with the scientist.
”Oh geez, is it that late already?” she asked with a light chuckle, trying to make the interaction a bit more natural as she casually slid her hand into her coat pocket and gripped the small canister. Pepper spray may not have much of an effect on the subjects here, but Clarissa hated being defenseless. ”I must have lost track of time in the file room.”

@Mojack group

“Oh..you must have! Those files…must get lost in them, huh?” Even if Clarissa was attempting to make the interaction natural, Bosa was definitely struggling with the concept of a natural conversation. Having been in a host for this extent was different, a weird experience.
Upon noticing her chuckle, Bosa also ended off his statement with a laugh. A bit too long for his tastes. And dry. And quite frankly - it was obvious it was a fake laugh.

This is a bad encounter! I need to leave!

The smile hadn’t dropped from the host’s face but his eyes searched around the hallway almost frantically.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Clarissa sighed and shook her head at the other's reaction. As if this woman wasn't setting off enough warning bells…
”Alright. Enough games.” she glared, all friendly pretenses vanishing. ”Who the Hell are you and what are you doing here? This facility is private property, so you better have a damn good reason for me not to call security.”

@Mojack group

“Oh. Um.” His eyes focused on her again. It was a few seconds before his smile finally dropped. “Well…I…”

Only one option here seemed good. And that was to flee. There’s no shame in fleeing, isn’t there?
“..Gotta go!” Bosa turned tail and started running. Albeit awkwardly, but significantly better than last time. His only focus was getting out of sight, and if he could do that, that would be perfect. If not, well…he’d find out.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

Just under the card lock next to every subject's door was a small keypad. As soon as the intruder started running, Clarissa quickly turned to the nearest one and hit the red button to call security. Normally, that button was reserved for if something escaped its cell but it would suffice to get help. The building would go under lockdown and only the head of security would be able to override it to let everyone out. When the alarms started going off, she quickly chased after the woman, thankful for her sloppy movements. It might help her catch up. … I really hope she doesn't have a gun…

@Mojack group

Having a host body was definitely a con at times. He made a note it was only useful for stealth…even then, only useful if he could actually blend in.
Lockdown was on, and Bosa almost tripped, if only to catch himself briefly. No doors - where were the doors in this hallway?
But even if he’d caught himself, he couldn’t stop from tripping over moments later, just barely stopping himself on the ground with his forearms. Pain was a different experience in a host. He didn’t really bother getting up after that moment, sliding near the wall instead. It probably would not be long before security arrived.

@FanfictionFanatic-The-Elder group

(Sorry. Was stuck at work all afternoon)

Clarissa was a tiny bit disappointed when the intruder gave up the chase, but she appreciated that the woman knew when she was beaten. She smirked a little and leaned against the wall nearby. ”I haven't had too many encounters like this but you are probably one of the worst spies I’ve ever heard of.” she admitted. Security would have plenty of questions when they arrested the woman… But Clarissa had a few as well. ”I mean, really… I’ve had a few awkward conversations but you act like you've never talked to anyone before. Are you on something?”
