"You can always start out in a parking lot. No one's pressuring you to do anything, though." Melissa hummed, giving him a soft smile.
"You can always start out in a parking lot. No one's pressuring you to do anything, though." Melissa hummed, giving him a soft smile.
Lucas nodded again and fidgeted a bit with his hands. "Okay… um… maybe. Like I said, I'll have to be out of here first."
Melissa nodded, pressing a soft kiss to his cheek. "Of course. Since you won't let me kidnap you, and get you out of here now." She teased, giving him a little smile.
Lucas laughed weakly, gently returning the kiss. "Yeah, yeah… I really don't want you breaking the law for me. We can't visit if you're in jail."
"Mm, that's true… I don't wanna do that to you again." Melissa hummed a little, giving him a sweet smile. "I'll be extra good, so I won't be arrested."
"Mm… thanks, Mel." Lucas rested his head on Melissa's shoulder again with a soft hum. "I love you~"
"Love you, too…" Melissa hummed, kissing the tip of his nose with a soft sigh. "I wish I could stay for a lot longer, today… I like cuddling with you…"
"I like it too, Mel… I really don't wanna let you go today." Lucas flushed a bit and laughed dryly. "I miss you…"
"Mmm, I'd be okay with that." Melissa snickered, nuzzling into his cheek. "If you can convince the people here, I'll stay~"
Lucas sighed softly. "They've got a pretty strict policy about that kinda thing, I'm afraid… there's not much I can do."
Melissa pouted, still nosing against his cheek. "But I wanna stayyy…" She whined softly, curling up close.
"I know you do, Mel, and I want you to stay too… but you can't, and I'm really sorry about it." Lucas sighed.
"It's not faiiir…" Melissa mumbled, dropping her head to rest on his shoulder. "Why do they have to be so strict? Can't they let up just once?"
"If they let up, people could get hurt, Mel… it's just too risky. I don't blame them for all the precautions, honestly."
"You're probably right… but I haven't seen you in like, a month. Just this once, I wish they'd let me make up all that lost time." Melissa huffed a bit.
"I know, I know… believe me, I'm not happy about it either." Lucas gently kissed Melissa on the cheek.
Melissa kept up her pouting, wrapping her arms around him again. "Well, I guess we have to make the most of it."
"Mhmm… come back as soon as possible, though. I get lonely." Lucas smiled weakly at Melissa.
"Of course, love. I don't want to make you wait again." Melissa mumbled, smiling in return after a couple of seconds.
Lucas nodded a bit and seemed to relax a bit at the reassurance. "Thanks, Mel… I'm already looking forward to seeing you again."
"Mmmm, I wish there was more I could do for you…" Melissa mumbled, starting to trace circles into his chest.
"It's alright, Mel… don't worry about it." Lucas gently kissed Melissa's cheek. "I really do love you, you know."
"Promise?" Melissa asked softly, looking up at him with her bright green eyes. "You promise that's not gonna change?"
"I promise, Mel. I love you a whole lot, darling." Lucas kissed Melissa again and held her close to himself.
Melissa let out a soft sigh, leaning into him. "I love you, too… it's been awful not to have you…"
"Mhmm… " Lucas buried his face in Melissa's shoulder again and sighed. "You're the best, Mel… I dunno what I'd do without you."
"I honestly don't think I'd want to know…" Melissa whispered weakly, resting her chin on the top of his head. "That's a dark road to go down… and I'm not even trying to put myself on a high pedestal, because I've been "so helpful"."
"Mm… yeah. You've really been more helpful than you seem to think, you know. You keep me sane, darling."
"Mm, I doubt that, love." Melissa laughed weakly, kissing him softly. "But if that's what you wanna believe, I'm not stopping you."
Lucas rolled his eyes. "Where would I be without you, Mel? Probably still stuck at my dad's house. Maybe even dead. I need you, Mel."
