Melissa snickered, kissing his cheek softly. "I wouldn't ever ask you to do something like that." She whispered, lips pressed against him still.

"Well, you did want to kidnap me." Lucas laughed softly and huddled a bit closer. "That's slightly illegal."

"Yeah, but that was a want. I wouldn't really do it, no matter how much I want to." Melissa hummed, smiling weakly. "Besides, it wouldn't be kidnapping if you let me, and I treated you right."

"Maybe not, but it's still kinda illegal, darling." Lucas gently kissed Melissa again. "I'm not exactly supposed to leave."

"Mmm, fine. If we weren't here, and all of that other stuff, it wouldn't be illegal." Melissa insisted, smiling sweetly.

"Are we legally allowed to live alone in the park when we're both underage?" Lucas asked curiously. "I guess they couldn't exactly stop us…"

"Mmm, especially if they couldn't find us." Melissa hummed, nosing up against him. "What could they do? Tell us we couldn't go to the park anymore?"

Lucas shrugged a bit. "Well, I dunno Mel. I'm not super familiar with more obscure laws like that."

Melissa smiled softly, happily staying curled up. "Mmm, we'll be fine then. If you don't know what would happen, the police won't either. You're a pretty smart guy." She joked a little, assuming he understood that.

Lucas rolled his eyes. "I'm not that smart… I'm sure that the police know far more about laws than I do."

"Mmmmm, you're the smartest guy I know. I'm sure you're smarter than the police." She mumbled, nuzzling her nose up against him.

Lucas laughed a bit. "Well, I appreciate the sentiment, but I highly doubt it. Police officers have to go through lots of training, and I'm just an emotionally unstable seventeen year old guy."

Melissa sighed softly, looking up at him. "You're my seventeen-year-old, unstable guy, though. And I think you're plenty smart." She insisted a little, sitting up in his arms.

"Mm… glad you think so, Mel. I've made some pretty stupid decisions as of late, though." Lucas held a bit tighter to Melissa.

"I'm hoping none of them have to do with dating me…" Melissa mumbled, leaning into his arms more. "That would be really awkward, right now."

"No, that's one of the few good decisions I've made." Lucas laughed softly. "You're definitely helping me more than you know."

"Mm, and you love me, right?" Melissa asked in a soft tone, looking up at him. "You love me for me?"

"Of course I do, Mel. I adore you." Lucas kissed Melissa softly and huddled a bit closer to her.

Melissa's smile picked up a little more, and she nodded just a little. "I love you, too… a lot more than those three words display."

"Mm… ditto." Lucas held tightly to Melissa with a soft hum, burying his face in the other's shoulder again.

Melissa started running her fingers through Lucas's hair with a soft sigh. "This is nice… I've missed this…"

"Me too, Mel… I love you…" Lucas kissed Melissa softly again and held more tightly to her. He relaxed at her gentle touch.

Melissa smiled a little more, kissing him again. “I love you, too.” She whispered, holding on a little tighter.

"Mm… how much longer can you stay?" Lucas asked softly. "I really don't want you to have to go soon…"

“Not for a little while…” Melissa mumbled, kissing the top of his head. “I did only just get here a couple minutes ago. We normally have about an hour together.”

Lucas nodded a bit. "O-Okay, Mel… I just… I wanna see you for as long as possible. I really miss you, love…"

Melissa gave him a weak smile, wrapping her arms around him a little tighter. "Well, I'll stay as long as they let me. I don't have any other plans for the day…"

"Mm… sounds good to me, Mel." Lucas sighed weakly and clung to Melissa. "I've really, really missed you…"

Melissa's smile remained as she let him curl up as close as he wanted. "I've missed you, too… I really don't like you have to stay away."

Lucas nodded a bit, his face buried in Melissa's shoulder. "I just… I really don't wanna let go of you… it feels like I'm never gonna see you again if I let go…"
