Melissa felt accomplished, crossing her arms over her chest. "Mmm, if you want really weird, I could call you princess. But that might be stretching it."
Melissa felt accomplished, crossing her arms over her chest. "Mmm, if you want really weird, I could call you princess. But that might be stretching it."
"Princess? Where'd you get that one from??" Lucas asked, bewildered. "I'm not a princess!"
"Mmm, your blue eyes make me think of a Disney princess." Melissa hummed simply, still smiling softly. "I was joking."
Lucas huffed a bit, flushing harder when Melissa explained. "Not all the princesses have blue eyes… I don't think, anyway."
Melissa snickered softly, resting her chin on her palm. "They don't, but I just thought of it. And really, I was only joking. But my point has been proven."
Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully. "Yeah, yeah… let's just move on. What else can we talk about?" He asked.
Mr. Brennahan chuckled softly, pulling his phone out of his back pocket. Melissa only rolled her eyes a little, offering her hand back to him. "Mmm, dunno. I think making you flustered is pretty entertaining… but clearly you don't."
"Yeah, you really love flustering me. You're lucky it's so easy." Lucas looked away, obviously pouting. "So mean to me, Mel."
Melissa pouted back, scooting closer to him. "Nooo, don't pout." She whined softly, resting her chin on the table.
"I'll pout all I want. My girlfriend just wants to see me blush all the time." Lucas stuck his tongue out again, still pouting.
Melissa dropped her shoulders, giving him a puppy pout. "But Luuu… you know that's not true…"
"I know, Mel. I'm just teasing. But I'm still gonna pout." Lucas huffed indignantly.
"What if I kissed you? Would you stop pouting?" Melissa asked softly, chin still resting on the table.
Lucas flushed red and looked away, fidgeting nervously. "I-I… um…" He stammered, clearly not sure what he was trying to say.
Melissa snickered softly, pushing up to walk around the table. "I'm not hearing an answer~" She cooed a little, carefully tipping his chin to look at her.
Lucas flushed harder, huffing and closing his eyes to try and hide a bit. He still didn't reply, just keeping quiet for now.
Melissa leaned in a little more, slowly running her fingers through his hair. "Mmm, I guess that's a no… what a pity." She sighed, starting to pull back.
Lucas sighed and gently tugged Melissa down to kiss her before looking away to resume his pouting.
Melissa felt a smirk creep up further on her lips, stepping back and sitting in her seat. "Mmm… you love me~"
"I feel like we both already knew that…" Lucas kept his eyes closed and crossed his arms, although it was hard to be super sulky with a puppy in his lap.
"Maybe, but you seemed very adamant you weren't gonna kiss me." Melissa hummed softly, giving him a little smile. "But that may just be the crazy talking."
Lucas rolled his eyes. "No, I'm just very dedicated to my sulking. I'm pretty stubborn, you know."
"That's true… but I want you to stop poutinggg…" Melissa whined softly, offering him her hand to hold.
"Whyyyyy…? You're making fun of me." Lucas huffed, accepting Melissa's hand and holding tightly to her.
"I'm not making fun of you… I thought it was only a little harmless teasing…" Melissa insisted as he took her hand.
"Regardless, I'll pout all I want to." Lucas insisted, lacing his fingers with Melissa's while he huffed and sulked.
"But Luuu…" Melissa groaned, starting to play with their interlocked hands. "I like seeing you happy…"
"I wanna pout." Lucas kept his eyes closed as he pet Cody.
Melissa sighed weakly, keeping quiet as she gently swung their arms back and forth. "But I like happy Lucas…"
Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully at Melissa again and huffed. "Wanna pout."
