Melissa huffed, face flushed a soft pink. "Fine, I was pretty cute." She mumbled once more, puffing her cheeks up when she pouted.

Lucas grinned brightly. "I love you darling~" He purred.

"Mmm… love you." Melissa huffed in return, burying her face in his shoulder. "Even if I disagree with you."

"Mhmm~" Lucas wrapped his arms around Melissa and started showering her with kisses.

"Luuuuu~" Melissa whined more, face growing more red. She gripped onto him, lifting her face to look up at him.

Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully and hugged her more tightly. "What~?"

"You're giving me butterfliiiiies…" Melissa groaned, pulling him close so she could nuzzle into the crook of his neck.

"Isn't that kinda the point~?" Lucas asked.

Melissa groaned once more, looking up at him. "If that's what you want from me, then yeah… is that what you're trying to do?"

Lucas shrugged a bit. "I guess so. I just want you to know how much I looooove you~"

Melissa couldn't keep her grin from pulling up, her face flushing more. "Mmm, well you're doing a good job."

"Yaaaaay~" Lucas kissed Melissa again and pulled her closer, seeming pleased.

Melissa giggled a little, kissing him in return. "Well, what about you? Do you know I love you?"

"Mm… yeah, I think so." Lucas snickered a bit as he kissed Melissa.

"You're suuuuuuure?" Melissa hummed, pressing a few soft kisses to his face.

"I'm suuuuuuure~" Lucas replied, mimicking Melissa's tone.

At that, Melissa rolled her eyes, a grin spreading across her face. She continued to kiss his face, placing a final one to the tip of his nose. "You're pretty cute, you know that?"

"Glad you think so." Lucas laughed a bit as he returned the kisses. "I try my best~"

"Mmm, well you're best is definitely working." Melissa chirped, holding his face in her one hand. "You're kind of really cute."

Lucas stuck his tongue out a bit again, closing his eyes and just allowing Melissa to hold his face.

Melissa sighed softly, running her thumb over his cheek. "Mmm… are we done with this stuff, or do you want to keep looking..?"

"I wanna keep looking! It's not like we really have much else to do anyway." Lucas shrugged

"That's true~" Melissa purred softly, kissing his lips as she sat up. She gently tapped the tip of his nose before going back to the pictures.

Lucas flushed a bit and returned to the pictures as well, humming softly to himself as he looked through them.

Melissa had a tender smile up, pulling more pictures from the box. "Mm… there's a lot of birthday pictures."

"Mhmm." Lucas rested his head on Melissa's shoulder and hummed a bit more, seeming content.

Melissa smiled softly, leaning against him with a soft sigh. "I love you…"

"Love you too, Mel." Lucas returned the gentle smile and pulled Melissa closer.

"Mmmm, it's so good to have you back home…" Melissa gently nosed against his cheek, leaning into his arms.

"Mhmm~" Lucas returned the nuzzles and kissed Melissa gently. "It's good to be back."
