She hummed a little, finding that slightly odd. I guess he was in pretty bad shape when he got here… ”Do you want me to take you to a hospital? Now that you're in civilian clothes, I mean.” she offered. ”We could say that you got beat up by a mugger or a random villain… Maybe someone you have a grudge with?” she couldn't help but smirk a little at the idea of framing another villain.
He blinked, then shook his head. "No. I've…got a record." He said slowly. "I don't…I'd rather not go to the hospital if I don't have to."
She sat up a little and looked at him. ”That’s alright. I’m not going to make you do anything you don't want to.” she said gently, truthfully. It didn't surprise her that he had a record, especially considering his father and the business with that gang.
He nodded a little. "Plus I, uhm, don't have good health insurance." He closed his eyes.
She chuckled softly and leaned back against him. ”Yeah… Biggest drawback of our semi-official careers. No insurance policies.” she agreed.
He hummed faintly. "Exactly. And while I could pay up with stolen funds…" He trailed off. "It would look suspicious."
She shook her head. ”And I couldn't let you. It… It wouldn't be right.” she sighed. ”I’m not judging you. That's not my thing. I just… I know that's how you live but I morally can't knowingly… actively let you…” she said apologeticly.
He nodded a little. "I get it." He replied softly.
“I’m sorry.” she whispered, holding him closer.
"Nothing to be sorry for." He replied easily.
She nodded slowly and continued to hold him. She still felt poorly about what she just said… even though it was true.
He kissed her forehead softly, humming for a moment.
She smiled softly at the kiss and buried her blushing face into his neck.
He smiled softly, rubbing her back gently.
She hummed a little, arching into the touch. She loved when he did that.
(gtg soon sorry)
He kept rubbing her back gently.
(It’s ok. Good night.)
She smiled and nuzzled against him.
He hummed for just a moment, holding her close.
She sighed happily, staying as close to Killian as she could.
He held onto her, still gently rubbing her back.
She kissed his neck and lightly tapped out the familiar message.
He blinked a little, but didn't otherwise respond.
She smiled softly, not noticing his reaction beyond what she usually felt when she kissed him there.
He hummed for just a moment.
She looked up at him and kissed his cheek.
”Something on your mind?” she asked softly.
He shook his head a little. "Oh– no. It's nothing."
