I READ IT THIS SUMMER AND LOVED IT!!! I've read two other McGinnis books (Heroine and Be Not Far From Me) and both were so good??? Not as good as The Female of the Species but still solid reads

Another one of hers is on Hoopla so I want to pick it up at some point. Heroine is about heroin addiction and Be Not Far From Me is about being trapped in the wilderness.

I ranted at my dad about how much I hated Allegiant for a solid half hour while on our walk tonight, and that feels relevant to this chat due to our….feelings on Divergent.

Me: And she just kills off all the interesting characters from the first two books, like she knew the deaths in Mockingjay had impact but didn't know why!

I only got like 200 pages into Twilight but Bella had more chemistry with the vampire girl than with Edward and that's the tea

in other news: i'm gonna be rude to the cosmos if i don't get at least some of the classes i want for my senior year. like, come on. i'm switching schools, the least you can do is look at my nerdy list of interests and give me some of what i want. at least mythology or ancient history or world cultures or creative writing or even psychology. imma be pissed if i get none of those

I'd like to be rude to Disney for the Hercules movie because it's so inaccurate but I can't not like it because the songs are all bops

My favorite Disney movie is Atlantis though, hella underrated
