”Ok.” she smiled again. ”Let me know if I'm making you uncomfortable.”
”Ok.” she smiled again. ”Let me know if I'm making you uncomfortable.”
He smiled faintly. "Okay."
She nodded a little and slowly stirred at her chili.
He took another bite of chili.
She sighed a little and started eating again.
He kept eating quietly.
She hummed lightly and turned the tv on quietly.
He glanced up, eyes flicking to the TV.
Out of habit, she had turned on the news but she wasn't really paying attention. She just turned it on for some background noise.
He watched it for a moment, then returned his attention to the food.
She relaxed a little more at having some kind of noise breaking the silence since she couldn't think of anything else to really talk about.
He glanced up at the TV again, but didn't speak.
She watched the news with him, only half paying attention, as she finished her small meal.
Then the news switched. To the fight, a hero against Killian. The camera footage was shaky, shot from someone's cell phone rather than a news camera.
She perked up a little when the fight came on, very interested in what happened and who this new hero was… But she didn't want to stir up any unpleasant memories for Killian. She glanced over at him to gauge his reaction.
Killian tensed faintly, grimacing. The footage didn't capture the full fight, since Killian and the hero hadn't stayed in one spot the entire time.
She picked up the remote and changed the channel. If she wanted to watch the fight, she was sure she could find it on the internet. Most people didn't keep footage like that private and was highly likely to be on Youtube.
Killian glanced at her. "Thanks." He said quietly, running his hands through his hair.
She smiled softly at him and leaned into the touch. ”You’re welcome.” she said just as softly.
He kissed her forehead softly.
She smiled again, blushing lightly and gently nuzzled against his side though she was careful of his injuries.
He held her close, wrapping an arma round her.
She hummed softly at the action and relaxed in his arms.
He kissed her cheek softly.
She smiled affectionately at him and kissed his cheek in reply.
He smiled, holding her close.
”Are you feeling any better today?” she asked softly.
He shrugged. "A little."
She nodded slightly, understanding that it would take a while for him to heal. ”You’re welcome to stay as long as you need to.”
He smiled faintly. "What about your roommate?" He asked softly.
