Winter smiled, "Hey, don't sweat it. I haven't talked to a female in six years. You're the first. Anyway, I'm from Hoth as you can see. I was trained to fight since I knew how to walk. We really didn't have anything that was extra there on Hoth. We only carried what we really needed. I have never known having too much. I was the daughter of a clan leader, until he was killed, and my entire family with him. Life for me has been weird, and then I have nightmares. Not like normal nightmares that fade when you wake up, these feel real, and they don't fade. They are always about what happened back on Hoth the night I ran and fled…"
Winter blushed. "I'm sorry. That was a little heavy. I just needed to tell someone, anyone. I haven't told Elias yet, and I really don't want to. I trust you more with my past than him. I think you understand this more right now, and he doesn't because he's worrying about my safety. I just needed to tell someone, to get it off of my chest…"
Essar sighed. "What do you mean 5?"
"You know."
"Clearly I don't. Our jobs technically make us rebels."
"Are we joining up with the alliance again?"
"No!" Essar shook his head. "Not after what happened. 'Sides we technically went AWOL."
Hi-5 sighed. "It's not your fault you know."
"Yes I do know! It's General Draven's fault. He didn't like that I was 'distracted' by my wife and kid."
Shiloh put her hand on Winter's wrist. Instantly, the cold seized her palm, but she tried not to notice. Comforting Winter was more important than a little frostbite. "My… my family… my family on… Ryloth…" Shiloh stopped. She'd never been so emotionally forward before, not including her snappy temper, but her wide golden eyes filled with tears and she withdrew her hand to wipe them away. "I'm sorry…" she whispered.
Winter heard Essar say from the hallway something about being distracted about his wife and kid… Her hearing was really good. She knew she shouldn't go see what was up, but she had to try to help Essar out as best as she could. She looked at Shiloh, "Excuse me for a moment. I'll be right back." Winter got up, and walked into the hall until she was right at the door Essar was behind. "Essar, are you all right? You sound kind of angry… Is there anything that I could do to help?"
Winter whispered, "If I can't help Essar, I need to go back to Shiloh.."
(I'll be gone for about an hour and a half to two hours, so I'm not ignoring you, I'm sorry! Gtg bye)
(Essar wasn't shouting really…)
(Ok, Winter does have reallly good hearing… I'll change that rn)
Essar heard Winter's voice from the other side of the door. "I'm fine Winter, thanks for asking."
WInter knew something was up. She asked a little more gently, "Are you sure Essar? I have time… I understand a lot of things. Being alone for six years gave me plenty of time to think, and reflect on things…"
Essar sighed. He had nothing against Winter, but still, he had just met her. Hi-5 shook her head. He sighed again. Hell, why not talk? He made to open the door. Hi-5 shook her head more vigorously. He winked at her before opening the door. "Fine, c'mon in Winter."
(Gtg go make frosting. I'll be right back.)
Winter didn't think Essar would want to talk, even though he was opening the door to let her in. She walked in, thinking only of helping Essar.

(I will be back in like two hours, I think 8:00 your time? I have to go plant flowers…)
(I'm here!)
Shiloh laid down and closed her eyes, unwillingly falling asleep. Even in her sleep, she was restless.
(Huzzah! Unfortunately I'm going to be off in a half hour :P)
(Dang. We better get going then!)
(and it's 10 minutes to leaving now…)
(I'm here! planting flowers took longer that I thought…)
(I'm here too! I'll be on and off cus I'm drawing an OC though.)
(Let's just finish the conversation between Essar and Winter, and then we could call it a night)
(Okay.)
Essar fiddled with a gadget.
"So, Essar, what did you want to tell me?" Winter asked.
Essar shrugged. "I dunno." He said, his mind clouded with thoughts of Teela and their daughter Wreyla now.
"Come on. You can tell me anything. Especially, anything that involves family. I should know. I lost mine, a long time ago…" Winter whispered.
"Yeah, but he barely knows you." Hi-5 snarked.
She gave the droid a cold look. "Listen, I know what it feels like to have nothing, and no one. I can help people through this, but no one helped me. I don't want people to suffer through what I had to go through alone…"
