He nodded a little. "Yeah, that should work."

She smiled softly at him. ”I can try to be over around 10-11 o'clock if you’d like. Assuming nothing urgent comes up.”

"Alright." he replied.

She nodded and quickly kissed him one more time before taking a few steps back. ”I’ll see you then.”

He smiled, looking at her. "Yeah. See you."

She smiled back, feeling herself starting to blush again as she made sure she had the bag with the clothes in it and headed for the door.

He watched her go, following her to the door so he coul lock id when she was gone.

She looked back at him and almost told him to stay out of trouble but remembered that would be a pointless request. Instead, she smiled and said, ”Take care of yourself.”

”I will.” she nodded as she hesitated at the door.

He leaned over to kiss her cheek softly.

She smiled at him and walked over to her bike. Strapping on her helmet, she waved goodbye before driving off.

He watched her go, smiling faintly.

Jade had a soft smile on her face the whole ride back to her apartment. She just needed to drop off the clothes then she was going to go take care of her paying job until sunset.

He locked the door behind her, swallowing faintly.

She hummed a little to herself as she wove through traffic effortlessly.

He sat down on the couch, running his hands through his hair.

”I hope you know what you're doing, Jade.” Sparky said quietly through her helmet.

”What do you mean?” she asked, raising a brow.

”It’s obvious you like him. Immensely. And I can tell he likes you too.” he explained, causing her to blush again. ”But is it smart to date someone who is publicly known as your nemesis?”

Killian didn't know what to do. This wasn't a good idea… But he didn't want to stop.

”He’s not a nemesis, Sparky.” Jade said firmly. ”If anything Harbinger is more of a nemesis that Killian could ever be. Now, please. Don't start that until I get somewhere private before I get an attack.”
