Nix sighed once they got inside, shaking his head a bit. "We'll have to stick with Cas for now just in case he wakes up. He won't do well if he finds himself alone."

"That's okay," he said. "It's what we were doing before." He made his way into the bedroom, more than willing to stay with the sleeping Cas.

"Mhmm." Nix crawled onto the bed and huddled up with Cas to keep him calm. Cas seemed plenty relaxed, blissfully unaware of everything happening around him.

Halm was on the other side of Cas, very calm himself.
"Zachary won't be coming back any time soon," he said gently.

"Mm… we'll have to let him, though. Cas will be upset, with us as well as him…" Nix sighed softly.

"Right…" Halm sighed softly, putting his arms around Cas and Nix carefully.

"We don't want Cas to be upset. Zachary won't be able to properly heal himself, so he'll at least be in pain while he's trying to be with Cas."

"Of course. That's all that counts." He smiled softly see he looked down at Cas. "Just so he knows."

"Mhmm~" Nix purred softly and nuzzled against Halm's arm. "Hopefully he'll be more careful from now on."

(oh hell naw, not when it comes to anyone but Cas XD)

Halm reached up, scratching the top of Nix's head.
"He will be. He knows better." No more trying to push himself on Cas. Zachary was going to never try that again.

Nix nodded, purring a bit louder. "Cas isn't in any state to be in a relationship right now. He's not stable."

"I know… It'll be a long time before he's ready for that kind of thing." He was just petting Cas to pet him at this point, enjoying it.

"Mhmm… Zachary could make him uncomfortable. Cas is touchy feely, but if Zachary decided to explore too much… he could scare him."

"We can't let that happen." He sighed softly. "No matter what."

"Mhmm. Because of how his ex boyfriends abused him sexually, he could get set off easily if Zachary tried to take it too far. He's been taken advantage of too much."

"Yeah…" Halm trailed off a little. "I'm not sure if he'll ever be ready for something like that. Zachary was pushing it with even that little kiss…"

"Right… it's hard to tell what would be the line for Cas, you know? Kissing may or may not… but we can't be too careful."

"Anything might set him off at this point," Halm agreed. He pet Nix's head, sighing softly.

"Mhmm… he's… got a lot of triggers, to be honest. We just have to try our best to be gentle with him."

"As gentle as we ever could be." He pulled the blankets up a bit more over Cas.
"Do you think we should let Zachary back before Cas wakes up? He won't be coming back without permission, not after a punishment."

"Maybe… he might freak out if he notices he's gone… you can go get him. I'll stay with Cas until you get back."

"Alright then." Halm pulled away gently, getting up and heading out. Zachary was still in the pond, breathing heavily. His sister dove back in when Halm appeared.
"Get up," he said, nudging Zachary with his foot. "You're coming back in to Cas. And you'd best not try anything else." Zachary quickly got up, dry now. He hurried inside, Halm following behind.

Nix was still huddled close to Cas when Zachary and Halm returned. He glared at Zachary when he saw him and reluctantly got up so the fish could take his place. "Don't push your luck or I'll fucking slice you into sushi."

(I'm sorry, but I freaking love that threat. It's a amazing XD)

"Yes sir," Zachary said quietly. He laid down next to Cas, but he was withdrawn. Afraid to show any affection to him.
