"Mmkay…" Cas started sipping at the milk, keeping his eyes closed. Nix watched him worriedly, but kept quiet.

Halm stood with Nix, holding his hand as he watched. Zachary sat down next to Cas, staying close to him.

Cas took a few minutes to finish the glass since Zachary told him to go slow and he didn't want to overwhelm himself. Nix held tightly to Halm's hand and sighed.

Zachary stayed by Cas's side, getting up only to get himself a glass of milk before returning. Halm glanced at Nix a moment, rubbing the back of his hand before turning back to Cas.
"Feeling better?" Zachary asked when he finished.

"A little bit, yeah…" Cas sighed, pushing his glass away from himself. "I still kinda feel like shit, but my head hurts less and I can think a bit more clearly."

"Alright then." Zachary nodded a little. "Is there anything else you want to do?" Halm was a little surprised Cas was out of the room right now, so soon after what happened.

"I dunno… I know I wanna stay inside, though…" Cas fidgeted a bit with the sleeves of his hoodie, looking down at the still red mark on his arm. Nix eyed it worriedly and looked up at Zachary, silently asking him what the fuck happened.

Zachary flinched a little at Nix's look. He hadn't done anything wrong, but he felt like he would be blamed. At least Cas had used the rubber band instead of his nails.
"Alright then," Halm said. "We'll find something to do."

Cas and Nix nodded a bit. "Maybe we could watch something on TV?" Nix suggested. "Then he can just stay on the couch."

Halm nodded. Zachary finished his drink and stood, offering his hand to Cas. He was going to stay with Cas, whether Halm and Nix liked it or not.

Cas accepted Zachary's hand and stood up, sticking close to him as they walked. Nix watched him carefully, leading the two of them to the living room.

Halm brought the television out, setting it up again. Zachary led Cas to the couch, sitting down with him. Halm soon joined them.

Cas huddled up against Zachary on the couch, pulling the other's arm around himself so he could be closer. Nix sat down near them and waited for Halm to turn on the TV, as he didn't know how.

Halm sat down next to Nix, turning the television on. He flipped it off the news quickly, which had been discussing the murder case for the man they had killed again. Zachary looked at Halm and Nix, staying cuddled up with Cas.

Cas seemed mildly disturbed for a moment when the murder case came on, but he didn't see enough of it for long enough to really pick up much information. He huddled close to Zachary and sighed.

Zachary rubbed Cas's back lightly as Halm flipped through the shows.
"Is there anything you want to watch?" He asked Cas.

"Um… I don't really care. Anything is fine." Cas relaxed at Zachary's touch. Nix watched them closely.

Zachary did his best to not fresh out under Nix's gaze, just focusing on Cas. Halm nodded, settling on a movie he knew shouldn't have any triggers for Cas. He sat with Nix, scratching the top of his head lightly as the television played.

Nix eased up when Halm started petting him. He purred lightly and looked up at the TV instead of Zachary and Cas. Cas linked his fingers with Zachary's and sighed.

Halm was glad Nix eased up on Zachary. Mostly so Cas didn't notice. Zachary held Cas's hand, leaning against him lightly. Halm glanced at them a moment. He smiled softly, petting Nix lightly.

Nix still wasn't pleased with Zachary, but he kept quiet for Cas's sake. He huddled closer to Halm and sighed quietly in content when Halm continued petting him.

Halm looked down at Nix, smiling softly. Zachary leaned against Cas very lightly, glancing at Cas more then he actually watched the television.

Cas eventually shifted so his legs were laying across Zachary's lap and he was huddling very close. Nix didn't seem to pleased with this, but he still kept quiet.

Halm sighed softly when he saw how Nix felt about Cas and Zachary, wrapping an arm around him fulling and scratching the top of his head to try to help him calm down. Zachary rubbed Cas's back, holding him close and avoiding looking at Nix at all.

Cas smiled softly and closed his eyes, resting his head against Zachary's shoulder. Nix sighed and turned his ears back, trying to allow himself to enjoy the gentle scratches.

Zachary moved his hand up to rub Cas's head, smiling slightly. It was as much as he dared. Halm would have said something to help Nix relax, but he didn't want Cas to over hear and realize what was going on. He didn't like Zachary bring this choose with Cas either, but they couldn't change that now.

Cas seemed to enjoy the attention and relaxed a bit more, still smiling gently. He wasn't paying much attention to the movie. Nix closed his eyes, figuring it would be best for him to not watch.

Zachary wrapped both arms around Cas gently, looking down at him and smiling. Halm held Nix a little closer to himself, just showering him in attention.

Nix nuzzled against Halm with a soft sigh, keeping his eyes closed. Cas smiled a bit more brightly when Zachary held him more securely.

Halm smiled softly as the movie continued quietly, petting Nix and was glad he was relaxing more. Zachary let out a small hum of happiness, resting his head on Cas lightly.
