"The caves are nice," Zachary agreed. "When ever you want to go, just let me know. We'll go when ever you want."
"The caves are nice," Zachary agreed. "When ever you want to go, just let me know. We'll go when ever you want."
Cas nodded. "As much as I like them, I really don't wanna go alone… I… don't think it would go well…"
"Then you won't. I'll come with you. Halm and the cat will come too, if you let them." Zachary held Cas close still, almost afraid to let him go. He didn't want to leave Cas alone.
"Mmkay… we'll have to bring a flashlight or something. I don't like how dark it is in there…"
"We can do that." Zachary spoke softly. "Anything to help you."
Cas nodded a bit and huddled close. "Okay… thanks, Zachary." He sighed quietly.
"You're welcome," Zachary said. He rubbed Cas's head, holding him close.
"I can't stay in here forever…" Cas sighed. "Basic needs and stuff or something…"
"I see," Zachary said, nodding. "I'm sure the others will make sure wherever you have to go there will be nothing to hurt you."
Cas nodded a bit. "I'm so dizzy… I think I'm really dehydrated, but I just… I don't wanna drink…"
"Cas…" Zachary said softly. He reached up, cupping Cas's cheek again. "It's important you take care of yourself. I know it must be hard for you to drink, after what happened, but we need to find a way to keep you hydrated."
Cas whimpered quietly. "I-I know I'm being paranoid and stupid, b-but I can't… what if it kills me? I-I can't come back to this body if I die again…"
"Hey, hey, it's okay," Zachary said quietly. "You have every right to be afraid after what happened. "We'll find a way."
Cas nodded weakly. "Can I drink something other than water? Something that feels safer?"
"Yes," Zachary agreed. "Is there anything you can think of now that feels safe enough to drink?"
"Um… I'm not sure… milk, maybe? That's not much like water… I know soda and stuff is still mostly water."
(This is Cas though-)
(Yep)
(Oh my XD)
"Milk works," Zachary said gently. "Do you want to come with me to get it, or should we ask Halm to bring it to you?"
"I'll go with you… I need to get up anyway…" Cas shifted around a bit and sat up, sighing softly.
"Alright then." Zachary sat up as well.
"As long as you think you're up to it."
Cas nodded a bit and slid off of Zachary. He carefully got out of bed and stood up. Almost immediately after doing so, his vision started going black and he swayed dangerously.
Zachary quickly got off the bed, putting an arm around Cas to keep him upright.
"What's wrong?" He asked gently.
"Can't see…" Cas mumbled weakly, leaning into Zachary and only barely managing to stay conscious. His vision slowly began to fade back in and he grew a bit more stable, though his head was buzzing louder and felt like it was under a lot of pressure.
"Let's go get you hydrated," Zachary said gently. He kept his arms around Cas, leading him out of the room.
"Mmkay…" Cas allowed Zachary to drag him along, seeming to be quite weak. Nix looked up when they came in. "Cas! You're up! Are you okay? You look… um… what are you up for?" He asked, seeming very worried.
Zachary carefully helped Cas along.
"We're getting something for Cas to drink," he said quietly. "He really needs it." He led Cas to the kitchen, letting him sit down on a chair. Halm looked up as well, moving to stand by the doorway to watch Cas and Zachary with concern.
Cas ran his fingers through his hair, sighing softly. He was somewhat paler than usual and was a bit shaky. "I don't really remember the last time I drank much of anything…"
Zachary quickly got Cas a big glass of milk, setting it on the table.
"That means it just that much more important you get something to drink," he said softly. "Don't drink it too fast, though."
