"It does," Arowen agreed. "Some people just think that the world is all nice and dandy, and that karma exists, or something like that." She rolled her eyes.
She glanced at the bodies of the sleeping students on the floor and sighed. "Oh, the poor fools."
"It's not their fault they're weak." Sebastian said this carelessly, not bothered by it. It was cold, calculated. Like so much of him. He knelt, checking on a couple of them.
“It might be, though,” Arowen said, leaning against the wall to watch him. “I have a theory that the amount of power you have is based on your will, how strong your willpower is. I have yet to prove it, and I don’t think it’s that possible, but you never know.”
"Really?" Sebastian said, interest piqued. He stood. "It seems like a good theory." He smiled a bit thinking about it. It would make sense.
"Really?" Arowen was surprised that someone was actually taking interest in her ideas. Usually, they would laugh and shake their heads.
"So, do you think we should draw on their faces?" She asked, motioning to the sleeping classmates.
Sebastian nodded to the first question, thinking on the second.
"Let's," he said, a little mischievous grin forming. It almost seemed out of character with how he'd been acting so far. He pulled out a market, notably permanent, offering it to Arowen.
Arowen blinked in surprise for a moment, startled that he'd acted so free, and then grinned, taking the marker from him and uncapping it. "What should we draw, then?" She asked, laughing. "Because I can't draw at all, just to warn you."
"Anything would be good. So long as it's embarrassing." Sebastian knelt down next to a student, preceding to draw a crude dick near their mouth. He laughed heartily. "Anything at all!"
"So… a vacuum?" Arowen snorted. "I'll be sure to put as many terrible things as I can on them." She drew boobs on one of the nerdy guys' cheeks.
Sebastian snorted a bit. He moved on, drawing more vulgar images on several of the students.
"You know, you're a fun person," Sebastian said, finishing his masterpiece of… A very sexual scene on a girl's forehead to accentuate how large it was.
"Are you sure? Or are you just saying that?" Arowen asked, laughing slightly as she wrote some very kind, innocent stuff on one of the guys' foreheads.
She added some lines, and, chewing her lip, added a final touch to her masterpiece before moving to the next person.
"I'm sure," Sebastian said with confidence. He smiled, standing up. He could hear someone coming.
"We should get going if we don't want to get caught," he said, still grinning madly.
"If you say so." Arowen held up a hand. "Just a sec, I need to finish this." She finished her drawing with a flourish, and capped the marker. She stood quickly. "Let's go!"
Sebastian nodded, hurrying out of the area with Arowen. He laughed, grinning.
"How thrilling," he said, smirking a little.
Arowen giggled slightly. "What will they do when they see what we've done? And will they know it's us?" She darted down the hall, turning a corner and slowing down to a walk.
"Hopefully they won't know it's us," Sebastian said, falling in step with Arowen, taking her lead.
"Though, we might be able to hear their reactions from here."
"That's true." She stopped. "Let's see if we can hear them." She flashed him a grin and tilted her head, listening hard.
Sebastian stopped as well. Already, shouts of shock and horror could be hear.
"Yes," Sebastian said, pumping his fist a little.
"Poor students. Imagine waking up to having those pictures on their faces."
Arowen gave an innocent smile. "The poor people."
Sebastian shook his head a little.
"Absolutely dreadful," he agreed. "I have no envy of them."
"You don't? Strange, I thought you would have," Arowen said with an innocent smile.
"If you were jealous of them, maybe I could have helped you!"
"No thanks, I'm good," Sebastian said. He laughed a little, putting his hands up slightly.
"Are you sure?" Arowen grinned.
"Because it seems like you need help." She waved the marker at him. "You sure?"
"Ah-!" Sebastian raised his hands a bit more, taking a step back.
"Nono, it's okay, really!"
Arowen giggled, which was very unlike her. "I don't believe you." She slid the marker back into her pocket, just to be safe. She would get him later.
Sebastian swallowed a little, composing himself a little.
"Well, if you must not…" he would be on guard.
"Please, what would I do? I'm just an innocent, harmless little girl." The devilish grin on her face said otherwise, but we won't talk about that.
Sebastian raised an eyebrow. Holy cow, Arowen was going to find a way to massacre his good looks.
"I don't seem to believe you, either," he said.
"What? Why not?" Arowen looked offended. "What'd I ever do to make you not believe that? Come on, I'm totally innocent."
"That smile," Sebastian said. "And the thing with we may or may not have done."
