Alex let out a sleepy sound, not quite waking up yet.

"Alex," Gabe said, just to say his name. He smiled softly, holding Alex close.

Alex's eyes flickered open at that. "Hmmm?" he questioned sleepily, shifting to hold onto Gabe again, looking up at him.

"I have to go to work today," Gabe said gently. He sighed lightly. "I'll make some breakfast before I leave."

Alex grumbled quietly, snuggling closer to Gabe and closing his eyes.

Gabe chuckled softly, rubbing Alex's back.
"Still sleepy?" He asked quietly, smiling as he kissed the top of Alex's head again.

Alex nodded a little, peeking up at Gabe and giving him a faint little smile.

Gabe smiled back, holding Alex close.
"I'll stay as long as I can," he promised.

Alex smiled again, snuggling close. "Thank you." he whispered.

Gabe rubbed Alex's back lightly, smiling.
"Of course," he says gently.

Alex let out a sleepy hum, curled close to Gabe.

Gabe held Alex gently, smiling softly as he kissed Alex's head again.

Alex's dark hair was messy and long, loose, but he didn't seem to mind.

Gabe brushed some of Alex's hair back from his face, smiling gently.

Alex kissed his cheek softly, letting out a quiet hum.

Gabe smiled, rubbing Alex's cheek.

Alex leaned into that touch.

Gabe kissed Alex's forehead when he leaned into Gabe's touch.
"Did you sleep well?" He asked gently.

Alex nodded a little. "For the most part." He replied softly.

"I'm glad," Gabe said with a smile. He rubbed Alex's back a little, happy.

Alex shot him a faint smile.

Finally, Gabe started to pull away a little.
"I need to go make breakfast," he said gently.

Alex frowned a little, but let go of him. "Okay…"

"I'll be right back, I promise." He gently tucked Alex in a little more, heading out to fix breakfast.

Alex rolled over onto his other side, watching Gabe go.

Gabe was quick with breakfast, carrying the two plates in with a smile.

Alex sat up, the blankets tucked around him still.

Gabe sat down next to Alex, smiling as he handed over the food.
"I hope you like it," he says with a grin.

Alex took the plate, returning the smile faintly.

Gabe started to eat quietly, sitting close to Alex.
