"It's fine." he replied with a quiet laugh.

Gabe chuckled when Alex laughed, giving him a small kiss.
"I'm still really tired," he admitted.

Alex hummed faintly. "Sorry." he replied softly, looking up at Gabe.

Gabe frowned softly.
"You have nothing to be sorry for," he said, kissing Alex's forehead.

Alex bit his lip. "Alright." he replied, unsure what else to say.

Gabe reached up to gently rub Alex's cheek, then pulled away to make breakfast.

Alex smiled faintly, sitting up and running his fingers through his hair.

Gabe hummed as he cooked.

He got out of bed after a while, padding into the kitchen.

Gabe looked up. He smiled, plating the food.
"How much do you think you can eat?"

He shrugged. "Maybe the same amount I did yesterday?" he replied softly.

"Okay then," Gabe said with a faint smile. He set the plates down for them to eat.

He let out a breath, looking up at Gabe.

Gabe kissed Alex's cheek lightly, motioning for Alex to join him sitting to eat.

Alex sat down near Gabe, taking the plate and letting out a breaht.

Gabe smiled gently at Alex, taking a bite of his food.

Alex smiled back, eating a little bit.

Gabe took another bite, cheering and swallowing.
"Is it good?"

Alex nodded a little bit. "Mhm. Thank you." he replied softly.

"You're welcome," Gabe said with a soft smile.

Alex let out a faint breath.

Gabe ate his food a little quicker than normal. He finished, kissing Alex's cheek.
"I'll be back tonight," he said. "Please remember to eat lunch, okay?"

Alex nodded a little. "I'll, uhm…I'll try." he replied softly.

"Thank you." Gabe kissed Alex lightly. "Have a good day," he said, voice caring and gentle.

Alex kissed him back. "You too." he replied, smiling a little bit.

Gabe nodded. He gave Alex one last kiss, then made his way out the door for work.

Alex watched him go quietly.

Gabe was gone until later in the evening again.
"I'm home!" He called quietly.

Alex looked up. He had been reading again, and came over to the door. "Welcome home." he said, wrapping his arms around Gabe happily.

Gabe easily returned the hug, smiling at Alex.
"Thank you," he said with a grin. He kissed Alex's cheek. "Did you remember to eat lunch?"
