Lucas flushed and looked away, huffing indignantly. "Nooooo…" He whined. "M'not cute…"
Lucas flushed and looked away, huffing indignantly. "Nooooo…" He whined. "M'not cute…"
Smirking a little, Melissa leaned over to nuzzle against him. "You are too~"
"Nooooooo…" Lucas closed his eyes and huffed again, keeping his head turned away. "So mean to me, Mel."
"Says you. You were the one teasing me, just thirty seconds ago." Melissa pointed out, still smirking. "It seems only fair."
Lucas stuck his tongue out playfully, his blush slowly starting to fade. "So mean to me." He repeated, conveniently ignoring her first statement.
Rolling her eyes a little, Melissa kissed him once again. "Despite what you think, I'm not actually that mean. Just truthful."
"Lies." Lucas returned the kiss and buried his red face in Melissa's shoulder. "M'not cute."
(I… I may have drawn Melissa in one of Lucas's hoodies…)
"You areee though," Melissa argued back, kissing the top of his head. "You're cute to me."
(:000 gib grabby hands)
"You're cuter." Lucas insisted, keeping his face hidden. "Way cuter than I'll ever be."
"I disagree. You're cuter, and there's no changing my mind." Melissa hummed lightly, resting her head against his.
(Yisss)
"Noooooo…" Lucas whined, looking up at Melissa with an obvious pout. "I'm nooooot…"
(Hehe~)
"I really do think you are. I can stop saying it, but I really think you are." Melissa told him softly, pecking his lips.
Lucas huffed indignantly again, but returned the kiss anyway and hugged Melissa again.
"I love you~" Melissa hummed, leaning up closer. "I'm sorry I upset you."
"I'm not upset, Mel… I'm fine." Lucas kissed Melissa's cheek softly and sighed.
Her brow dropped into a concerned look, and she gently reached up to pet his cheek. "You sure?"
"Mhmm. I'm alright." Lucas smiled weakly and closed his eyes, leaning into Melissa's hand a bit.
"Alright… if you're sure." Melissa mumbled a little, still giving him a worried look.
Lucas nodded and took Melissa's hand again to keep walking along the path.
Keeping quiet for a minute, she let out a soft sigh when she saw the playground up ahead. “Looks like we’re almost there.”
"Mhmm." Lucas stepped onto the playground when they reached it and looked around curiously. "I haven't been here in years."
"I had a feeling," Melissa laughed lightly, leading him over to the swings. "I can push you, if you want."
Lucas laughed a bit as well, flushing lightly. "Um… sure, if you'd like to, Mel. We could always just do it together, though."
Melissa smiled in return, shrugging a little. "I guess so, but getting to push you could be fun." She hummed a little, reaching out to take the chain of the swing.
"Alright." Lucas sat down on a swing and adjusted his legs around a bit. "I think I might be a bit tall for these, Mel." He laughed.
Coming around behind him, she had a bright grin up. "Maybe a little, but if it doesn't bug you, we could still try." Melissa hummed, starting to pull the swing back.
"Sure, Mel." Lucas gripped the chains tightly to keep himself steady on the swing and tried to find a good position for his legs.
After pulling him back a decent amount, she let him go so he would swing forwards. "It's strange, there's no one else here. Especially on a Sunday."
"Yeah." Lucas shifted his legs as Melissa pushed him so that they wouldn't hit the ground. "Really quiet, isn't it?"
"Mhmm… it's kind of creepy." Melissa hummed lightly, feeling a chill run up her back. "I'd probably go home if it weren't for you being here."
