Dom- so you said you could stop it, is it almost like a sneeze? You could hold it in, but it's more satisfying to let out? Or is it more like an involuntary muscle twitch, where you could watch the tic happen and feel completely disconnected?

I guess so. It's like, a millisecond before it happens my brain is like IReallyWantToDoAThing and then it happens. And I think I could stop it, because I feel the signal before it happens. It's like I will it to happen instead of it being automatic. Except I don't really mean to.

I wish you'd call me out, Mir. It would be interesting.

Ah, I get it. Tics, especially when it's the clenching of muscles, can almost always be contributed to high levels of anxiety. With all that panic surging through the body, it has to be released somehow. If you can, find ways to fully relax your mind and muscles. Maybe during prayer? Exersize also helps release some tension.
Tics aren't inherently harmful, but if you start having compulsions to harm yourself (slapping yourself, hitting your head on things) then it's time to take it more seriously.

welllllllll
I mean
my two most common tics are rolling my eyes back repeatedly (which causes headaches) and jerking my head forward (which fucks with my neckkkk it hurtssss)
I know of some situations where people have harmful tics

Ah, true I didn't think of that. I revise my statement: Tics can cause pain and if you start having compulsions to harm yourself, then it's time to take it more seriously.

I guess I was only thinking of tics like finger twitching, spasmatic leg movements, tongue clicking, stuff like that. But yeah, there's a plethora of other tics that cause pain by themselves.

Yeah it's nothing that harms me. Just annoying sometimes.

@ElderGod-kirky group

I now have two rings to add to my "out of place but still going to be there to fidget with" collection of four bracelets and one other ring

My left hand/wrist is pulling most of the weight

@The-N-U-T-Cracker

It’s not one I shared here
It was about the whole Covid thing
I’m too lazy to upload but the gif was two clips from the music video Break All The Rules by Cravity, with the video captions saying “Cause I can’t breathe, let’s break all the rules”/“Breaking the rules is cool”
Then at the top it just says “karen when costco says to wear a mask”

…Less than two days after I made it the George Floyd thing happened and now the gif could be taken very differently

"Cause I can't breathe" isn't cool right now at all

@evastardust groupRRAAAARRL

Also gonna be rude to my mask for fogging up my sunglasses, it more or less is fine with my normal glasses but the sunglasses more of my face.

@Pickles group

I have done way too much useless stuff this quarantine. Crocheted nearly 15 octopi, two hats that are too small, a dinosaur, some narwhals, and nearly half a blanket, tried and failed to get back into knitting, made countless picrews of myself, made five friendship bracelets all for myself with the colors of only three actually meaning anything, filled several large pages of a sketchbook with mostly doodles of heads, almost completely abandoned my bullet journal, binge watched three shows because of nostalgia, and rewatched nearly every Barbie movie while doing various other things
