"So what? That doesn't mean you can treat him like he's worthless. He's just a kid, Anton."

"I didn't treat him like he was worthless, don't twist my words."

"You're not treating him like an equal. You're treating him like he's less than you because of his injury."

"And?" he arched an eyebrow.

"And? What do you mean, and?" Lloyd was still taken aback. "You don't do that, Anton! You can't just insult people because they're injured!"

He blinked at Lloyd for a moment, then shrugged.

"How do you not see anything wrong with this??"

He shrugged again, eyes roaming around the room.

"Please, explain to me why you think that's okay."

He tipped his head at Lloyd for a moment.

Lloyd maintained eye contact with him. "Well, go on. I'm waiting."

He shrugged slightly.

Lloyd sighed, waiting patiently for Anton to begin explaining himself.

Anton shrugged again. "I haven't got an explanation for you."

"Alright. Can we stop this behavior then if there's no reasonable explanation for it?"

"I don't know, can we?"

"That's a question for yourself, Anton. Don't be childish."

He rolled his eyes. "I'm not childish."

"You are childish. Take a second to listen to yourself, Anton. Think back on your responses to everything today."

Anton shook his head.

"Do it, Anton. Look back on how you've replied to me and to Nathaniel."

Anton sighed. "And? So what?"

"So, you're being immature and your behavior is unacceptable."

He rolled his eyes.

"And it's still unacceptable. If your behavior continues, I'll have to have a conversation with my father."

"Fine, whatever."

"You should care about that, at least. I can get you removed from your position. I decide whether or not you get to be king."

He shrugged. "I know."

"Then why don't you care?"
