He laughed a little, shaking his head. "And what would you know of that?"

"From the like, two times I've talked to you, that is all you've done. You're an asshole, you're terrible with people, and you make bad decisions."

"Says the eleven year old."

"Ah yes, a truly mature response from the adult."

He rolled his eyes.

"You're immature, and that's coming from the eleven year old."

He shook his head a little bit.

"Why do you refuse to reply?"

"Because there's no point in arguing with you."

"Why not? Why don't you want to defend yourself? Do you accept that you're an asshole and you're not at all qualified to be in a position of power?"

Anton looked at him. "There's no point in arguing." he repeated.

Nathaniel sighed and shook his head a bit as he huddled up to Lloyd.

Ellis was silent.

After a while, Lloyd stirred a bit and opened his eyes weakly.

Ellis shifted, leaning against the wall.

"Mm… what's going on?" Lloyd asked weakly, his voice still ragged from coughing.

Ellis glanced at Anton, then Nathaniel.

"Hello?" Lloyd sat up a bit and coughed.

"I…don't think it's my place to explain." ellis replied.

"Damn right it isn't." Anton mumbled.

"Basically, Anton was being an asshole and insulting me and making fun of me for being a cripple." Nathaniel clung a little more tightly to Lloyd. Lloyd seemed pretty taken aback and looked up at Anton questioningly.

Anton rolled his eyes. "I was not making fun of you."

"You were making fun of me! You said I'd never be able to king even if I wanted to because I'm crippled!" Lloyd was definitely confused now, and held Nathaniel close to himself to comfort him. "Anton? Is this true?"

Anton frowned. "Well, yes, but not really." he replied.

(Lloyd: Did you bully my brother? Anton: Well yes, but actually no)

"What do you mean by that?" Lloyd asked tentatively.

"I merely spoke my mind. I was under the impression that that was allowed here."

"Not when you're bullying a crippled child??"

"I wasn't bullying him, good lord."

"If you're telling him that he can never be what he's literally been raised to be because he's crippled, yes, that's bullying."

"No, you're the one that's been raised to be king. He's just the spare."

"A spare? He's a person, Anton. He's received almost the same training as me."
